Sure a buyer might be entitled to a refund but Topps can sure as heck say they don't want to deal with you anymore. Just like there are many people on my blocked buyers list on eBay...they can (and I think they should) just block you. No joking there.

Wow, what a weak take. That’s fine, guess we should all be spineless consumers who take what we get and when we get it.

If either of us were blocked then I would honestly not a buy a single new card beyond 2017 and I’m sure my brother would follow suit.

Why has this got you so mad? I mean you got your money back? Also I didn't attack you...just said you should expect to be blocked. Don't even know if you will be...but you call me and anyone else who has patience to wait for our autographs a spineless consumer? You don't even know me...

Sorry you took it as a personal attack, that wasn’t my intention. I was speaking from both my brothers and my perspective, which was tired of the wait and lackluster service. To us, we were not happy and just wanted a refund. We both requested refunds and Topps told us to pound salt. Bowing down would’ve made us spineless...specifically to us in our cases.

I have no issue with other people waiting but I do take issue with other people taking Topps side unequivocally and then painting the buyers as being block-worthy? It’s insulting and the mere suggestion that people that seek refunds should be blocked seems like a subtle form of intimidation, really.

Under what circumstances can Topps be held accountable then? Would it be ok after 30 weeks? 50 weeks? If they swapped out a subject on the autograph list?

TKraft, You may want to talk to the person who is in charge of the class action lawsuit they are close to dropping on Topps. I think Topps will change their verbiage in the near future. Personally, I have decided to buy any auto I want this year off Ebay once they are listed for 50-60% of original price. I lost my ass last year buying autos. Still have red ass over the Harper auto.

Topps has already changed the wording to 12-16 weeks with this years RTOD sets. Honestly, I don’t really have any interest in a class action suit unless I’m convinced it would actually accomplish something that makes the hobby better.

Coming to this thread to promote that “all sales are final” means nothing once another term of sale is broken is enough for me. It seems like more people receieved refunds this year and that’s what will create change in a hurry.

Joe should have a bias, he has a lot tied up in Topps Now. If you invest in a stock, you are sure going to have that companies back, no? Joe either sinks or swims with Topps Now, I would hope he sticks up for the product.

There is just no need for anybody to say if a customer is "block worthy" or not.
Leave the problem of a customer and Topps to themselves.
No need to rub salt in the wound when he/she have gone through all the difficulties, with Topps not responding properly to their inquiries.

Lol, man you’re really dug into that stance. Try thinking of examples where Topps isn’t the seller, replace with an eBay seller or member on here. Would you hold the same view?

Imagine the seller not shipping 10 weeks past when they said and then not responding to messages. Would your main conclusion still be that the buyer should be blocked?

If a contract says 12 weeks, it means 12 weeks. If Topps doesn't fulfill their end of the bargain under the terms they set, that's on them. If they don't want to be held accountable for delays, they should either lengthen the window of acceptable delivery or get the cards out on time. There's nothing wrong with someone requesting a refund after an unreasonable wait (unreasonable being defined by Topps themselves). There's also nothing wrong with giving them the benefit of the doubt and waiting it out as it's likely a player issue and not their fault. But no reason to pile on someone who isn't in the wrong from protecting his or her own interest.

Thanks guys, that’s all I’m really trying to say and making other consumers aware that they have rights once a contract is broken regardless of “all sales are final”.

Yeah, I requested my $600 refund for the Dodgers sets today as well. Still nothing from Topps despite all the comments on the thread, customer service contacts, etc. They can block me if they want, but I'm not going to lose out on my right to file a PayPal case. I can't believe it's been 6 months without so much as an update.

Finally got my 2016 Topps Now Cubs cards loaded into a Flickr album. Still need to work on the 2017s. I hope I got all the 2016s in there.

NOTE: I generally tried to get only the cards with the Cubs logo on it, with a few exceptions. Consequently, there are some cards (like the end-of-season Award Winners) that feature Cubs players that I don't have, as I didn't personally consider them in scope for the "Cubs set." Obviously, there's room for debate on that.

Am hoping to coninue to add a few more World Series autos to this collection over time, especially a Ross, Fowler, Contreras, and maybe also a Russell, if/when I can find decent deals on them. Would prefer to find BGS 9.5 examples of those. Might also consider getting a Brussell at some point, though it just doesn't excite me like the Bryzzo does. Maybe if Russell bounces back this year I can get into that card more.

I should have figured it out after the 3rd post or so about it...but by then the wife was dragging me off to the zoo...and I can not stand the zoo! I was most likely raging against that by then.

Yes I go to the zoo once a year to keep the wife happy...she loves the place. I mean with the stench and monkeys grabbing themselves, what's not to love!
