Patrick Sandoval will be starting. Sounds like the issue only affected some of the Angels players, evidently one of the team busses was delayed.

We did not experience any issues on our end. We confirmed with Operations Control Center there was no delay for any Coliseum-heading train during the Bay Bridge incident.

There was no issue with the BART. Ohtani was on a bus at first that got stuck in traffic. He got off the bus and on to the BART to get the rest of the way to the stadium. That tweet appears to be the usual report first verify later Twitter babble.

I try to learn as much from the boards as possible. These boards are a very valuable source of information. I feel like you and some other posters are good guys and try to help and be positive. Others not so much. But I am learning (and have made plenty of mistakes along the way).

As someone that has lived in the bay area for 20+ years and commuted from Oakland to SF, I can tell you that the BART is among the worst public transit systems in this country. I joke with my friends that 50% of the reason I moved is because of BART, but it truly is that bad. There is almost always something wrong with BART and it doesn't have to be schedule related.

Examples: Bums on a crack rage, someone projectile vomiting, people bringing in chain saws, someone publicly wacking it, kids break dancing and kicking people, etc etc (I've witnessed all of these). You can say that this is true for most transit systems, but TRUST ME, not to this extent.

This was also in the afternoon - BART gets mega crowded on east bay routes starting 3-4pm on weekdays. You can bet there were BART delays.
