This week should be interesting with the trade deadline ending Thursday.

Teams were all holding out for the most they get for these guys but since nobody has bitten they should soften up a little. Especially for the ones who are on expiring contracts. It's now or lose them for nothing.

I don’t see why not. Offensively they’d be extremely difficult to stop and Drummond would provide a much needed boost to paint protection

I think they could get Drummond cheap too if someone else doesn't get him beforehand.

I've read all the blogs and comments from people who disagree and say they shouldn't get him he wouldn't fit. But why not? If you can get him for a second round pick you do it. You try him out for the rest of the season and if it doesn't work out then no big loss. Let him walk away in FA.

Best case scenario we know he's a rebound monster and will provide several extra shot attempts per game for the offense. And now those close games they lost maybe they don't lose because of the rebounds and extra chances.

Yeah, same thing like james johnson, brought him in.. see how it it work.. if not, he just ride the bench until his contract expire next season.

Absolutely...it would be perfect. Porzingis doesn’t want to post up, his game is on the perimeter and Drummond on the inside. Who can match up to that lineup? Denver with their diverse bigs but not many others.....would be a killer if the Mavs could grab Drummond and still keep Porzingis

Not enough to move Collins, Hawks will end up keeping him for the playoffs and match offers in the off season.
