Last night a sapphire went for nearly as much as an s2 black. That’s dumb!

Oh for sure, I got in quite early and decided for myself I’d never overpay for any card going towards my collection. His prices have been higher than they are now so if he has a similar season his stuff will shoot up again. Apparently not everyone focusses on the negative and sees his highlights as potential superstar material. The positive aspects of his game are so good that I’m sure on a collecting level it will take a long time before his cards tank completely, he would have to be absolutely awful on both sides of the field and honestly I don’t see that happening. In my opinion there is still money to be made at this point in time.

Overpaid yes. I guess I saw so many selling for more and put in a dumb bid for it sort of hoping would lose. It ended up exactly what my high bid was. Kicks to the nuts as saw another sold yesterday in the 600 range. I'm an idiot with FOMO and need stuff now for instant gratification. I mean I paid 550 for 2 bowman sapphire shortly after release. I guess the super ow prices I paid for some heavy hitters last year of him average it out.

Totally agree. I love those clips where he ranges well into left field to make a catch and Eloy is just standing there with his hands in front of him.

OH I didn't get offended in any way just fessing up and in agreeance about the absurd prices. Saw the black end a bit over 900 and sure wish I got that too/instead but man I'm a bit way over my head spending lately and need to stop..stop...I said so many times and keep going back to old bad habits but just can't spend anymore.
