Was good to see them win a tough competitive game. It's been a rough stretch. Now they've got several at home with some easier teams. Hopefully they can put together a winning streak.

The offensive game plan was better. Pace was faster, which I think is a must. More post plays, which led to some open looks from three follwoing more ball movement. Good to get the win and a nice night from Luka. No surprise seeing him hit more threes when he abandons the ridiculous step backs.

Agreed on all this. Don’t kill the early momentum by following a pre set rotation plan. Gotta coach the game in moment. Not too upset though they’re still trying to figure out the best way to get Luka some rest.

Defensively I don’t know if it’s coaching or the players being lazy but they can’t continue to switch screens to create terrible matchups. It almost blew them the game. I’d rather give up an open look to Kent bazemore then have Curry isolated on Kleber every fricken possession at the end it seemed.

All that being said it’s a good win and that’s all that matters!

^ I think that’s what the Mavs did on Thursday and got roasted by Obrue. Either way Mavs defense has been a major disappointment and the thought of having DFS and JRich as your wing defenders was nice on paper but in reality has been a mess. KP being put in PnR’s is a disaster as well since he can’t move in space

Carlisle strategy is to have his bigs drop on the PnR but against guys like Steph and Dame you can’t do that. See what Dame did In the bubble to Mavs

Trapping Trae worked against ATL bc they don’t have anyone else that can pass the ball like GSW has in Draymond

It’s scary that Luka is this team’s best defender. I mean, he has made great strides this year, but come on.

I saw some things in the game that they did better at which they need to continue doing and weren't doing previously like rolling quick to the rim on pick and rolls. They could have capitalized on more of those if Luka made the quick pass because those guys were wide open for a second. That's something they were really good at last year and weren't doing at all previous to this game. Guys were just setting screens and moving to the side. Hopefully they see it in game film and recognize it. I think they are aware of it because you could see the effort was there this game but they still missed a lot of good opportunities. Luka could make a quick jump pass over the top and it's an easy 2. That was a huge part of their offense last year.

Graded or ungraded? True RC or are inserts in play?

One of my favorites is Optic The Rookies Holo - you can definitely get a PSA 10 in that range. I also like the Chronicles sets - especially Elite, Phoenix, and Essentials.

Threads Dazzle in a high grade is pretty sweet - very tough grade.

For second year I really like the Net Marvels Press Proof - lower print run than the base and they included it again in this years release so hopefully it becomes an annual set then 2019 will be the first yera of them.

I think Obsidian Previews are very nice and within that range. I also think the revolution brand falls within those parameters in PSA 10.

Yes raw or graded I will look into those. I love Luka and believe in him long term as the best chance to be the next in line but the supply and quantity is a problem for me long term.

Have a Revolution PSA 10 and an Obsidian PSA 10 on ebay.
I'd do $550 and $950 on here if you're looking for either of those.

With prices shuffling down a bit you might be able to get a rookie auto for $1,000. May have to pony up a bit more, but with Luka not currently signing, that could be decent play. I also like the ideas mentioned of Obsidian, Chronicles and Revolution.

I got 3 Luka Elite Red /149 PSA 9's for about $950 total

I agree! For PSA 10, I like Revolution CNY. Any of the CK Level 1-3 in PSA 9 should fall in that range. Certified Silver you could probably get a PSA 10 for at the high end of that range.

Yeah, a lot of the chronicles Red /149 PSA 9's are good buys right now! pickup one up myself (marquee).

Can't go wrong with any numbered Luka rookie card IMO.

Agreed man. Nice scoop on the Marquee!

Ridiculous prices tbh $300 for a red Elite PSA 9 is a no brainer.

And to reiterate a couple things posted..

1. Any numbered Luka rc you can grab right now for the low are as good of buys as there are currently (IMO)
2. Consolidation has been the name of the game for me recently as well
