I don't recall COMC shipping cards this way before, but I have to imagine this is an incredibly time consuming activity unless it somehow makes shipping more efficient now.
They need to insert the paper slip for their new sorting machine. It probably saves substantial time when the whole sorting process is considered.

I had two submissions from back in March and April. 270+ total items. All had been processed and added to my account, however, my account was showing that I still had 57 items that were still being processed.

I reached out to COMC customer service and they said batches just needed to be concluded from their system, so they went ahead and did that. However, when they concluded the orders, I was charged again for items.

I sent them the emails that explained that I had already been charged, but they basically told me that once the batch officially concludes, then I am charged.

So basically, if I would have never said anything, I would have not been double-charged.

Crazy.

Crazy.
I sent these to the Customer Support rep:

On 3/29/2021:
$1.00 of store credit was used to process the 1 new item(s) added to your account.
$4.00 had been previously charged for the 4 item(s) already processed in this batch.
A total of $5.00 has been used to cover the 5 total item(s) processed so far.

Your account now has $56.11 of store credit.

On 4/2/2021:
$22.40 of store credit was used to process the 56 new item(s) added to your account.
$86.80 had been previously charged for the 216 item(s) already processed in this batch.
A total of $109.20 has been used to cover the 272 total item(s) processed so far.

Your account now has $56.27 of store credit.

Their response:

As stated in these emails, those sums are your running total and are not an additional charges.

Am I crazy, or does the emails clearly state that they used my store credit for processing?

Yes, they charged you back in April, per your dating of those emails. What was the recent email you got charging you again?

There was no email. When I reached out to support and they cleared the batches, my account had the funds removed.

Anybody know how long items will be "stored remotely?"

I was under the impression that they only did that if it was at the Canada warehouse. All of my Elite items I submitted are now stored remotely.

Seems they forget to remove it for most items. I have one left (Jefferson prizm orange rc) that has the tag.

Have the employee elevate it. I think they can do that. You should send them a screen capture showing the debit so they can easily see that you were double-charged.

I have not sent anything into COMC for a while because it has been really slow over there I think due to the slow shipping. How long are they taking to check in orders right now.

As I was saying, wow. Just had my first 80 cards on a small 200 card submission at the National on Thursday hit my account, over three months early!

I spoke with one of the CS Managers. They tried, as best they could, to explain their "rolling totals" for processing cards into an account.

It made zero sense to me, and I could tell it made zero sense to him, but he was trying to articulate as best he could.

I basically just gave up because they weren't budging on their stance of these rolling totals.

Looking like I am going to liquidate my inventory and stay off COMC until they are able to fix some glaring issues.

If you are looking at your Store Credit History, it is kind of confusing the way they do entries there. Instead of leaving individual entries for each day cards are added, they keep a running total for the batch and just move it up in the Store Credit History.

If you go back in your Store Credit History to 3/29 and 4/2, those charges will no longer be listed on those dates in your history. Instead, any fees for that batch are listed on the date that charges were last made for that batch, likely the date that they closed it out. That does not mean all of those fees were charged on that date.

For example, I had one card added last night from a very large batch. Last night I was only charged 50 cents, but the Store Credit History entry for last night shows -$660, 1320 items. That is the running total for the whole batch, but only 50 cents was charged last night. But just looking at it like a ledger, it looks like $660 was charged to me last night.

It's kind of a confusing way to do it, and very hard to put into words as you can see. I would prefer they leave each charge for adding cards separate in the Story Credit History on the date it was charged.

EDIT to add: If you do have two separate entries in the Store Credit History for the same fees, you should screenshot that and show it to them.

Yeah - I have been pleasantly surprised on mine as well. It has now been a month and over 500 of my 700 card submission has been processed.

I would imagine the elite cards will be the last to be moved to the new facility where the shipping is actually done, so they will likely show as stored remotely for some time.

3 out of 74. Honestly it might be. Seems like many players are collectors these days.

Has anyone had any luck grading cards that they have shipped via COMC?

I have a few PC PSA cards that I am looking to ship to myself to display that I have grabbed recently, but I also have some low numbered prospect autos that I would like to send off to grade and keep for myself. Has anyone had any luck or it is kind of a shot in the dark on condition for those cards?

How well does the scan generally match the card in physical form? I've never had a shipment yet.

I’m trying to get rid of the last few cards I have on COMC with a port sale but it seems the shipping issues is still keeping buyers away..

I've had a decline in sales every month since march.
