I've been collecting the cards I like since the beginning of p2020, just for fun with no intention to flip. But I am glued to the up and down drama in this thread all day. I hardly check FB, IG and Reddit. My productivity is lowered. But the dang up and down keeps me coming back. Thank you.

I myself have just gotten in this, of no fault but my own. I saw this thread on the front page for weeks, and didnt bother to read up on it more or study. Its on me! Feeling bad for missing out is fine, but don't get frustrated at other people. Take it as a learning experience. I know I have.

Other people who are making money on this IS A GOOD THING! I can't tell you how many times someone at a card show (that had also set up) comes over to my table after they have made some money selling their cards, buys a bunch of stuff from me. More money in the hobby is good, some of that money will be bought into buying other card products as well. Just because you dont make money in P2020, doesnt mean that everyone wont benefit in some way!

I think he just disagrees with your point that people only buying new releases for resell purporses will struggle.

I would also disagree with that point, at least for the near future.
