I haven't had any issues selling shoes on ebay (knocks on wood), but my brother said that people buying sports cards on ebay suck. I would ship with signature confirmation and hope for the best.

Crazy luck on my side. I only bought the Blake Jamieson Jackie Robinson because it was in my cart during the Bowman 1st Edition fiasco and I didn't want to mess with it. Now that card has paid for the box essentially.

Had a buyer this morning cancel 1 Rochester Trout he paid for yesterday from clear "buyers remorse". This project is really bringing the worst out of people, at least I sold off everything else on facebook to a very trusted buyer. Watch karma catch up and prices go up slowly after this panic dip.

Not sending the card is going to be a great way to get a negative yourself, which would then ironically not qualify you to bid on any other sellers who put similar policies in their auctions.

I understand what you're trying to accomplish here but 25 is arbitrary and most certainly won't stand up if a buyer pushed back on it. I'd go as far as to say even restricting those with a negative is arbitrary, since what you're trying to control for is bad buyers and since sellers can't leave negative feedback you're only catching bad sellers with your restrictions.

No one can tell you what to do - it's your card, and if you have a bad feeling in your gut then you should absolutely follow it - but these are the risks that come along with selling on eBay. No great options, just options that are less bad than others.
