Yes, slight change made recently. If you click on the seller, it brings you directly to their inventory. If you click on the feedback score (to the right), you can see either their Shipping Rates (default) or their Seller Report Card.

As we work on the entire site redesign, other screens that have the seller name/feedback score will all work the same way.

Filtering issue, steps to reproduce:
Browse specific seller inventory, filter by sport, filter by manufacturer, then deselect manufacturer. Full list of manufacturers does not appear unless you then select and deselect another filter (year, set, etc.)

Overall I like many of the upgrades, but when searching by subset, when you click show more, it still doesn't show all of the subsets. I wish you could see all of them, especially if you are searching for Something like Select that has Select Draft and regular Select. There is no way to search by set name in a lot of those situations.

I do really like the sorting by Team aspect though!

Yes, One enhancement on the list is to allow a page up/page down option in the filters for the set names. The problem is, we can't control what people search on. Someone could just search on the word "Topps" for example and there would be many thousands of sets with that kind of search. This vauge search is already slow, imagine the performance issues loading up all of those sets to allow the paging through of thousands of sets.

In the meantime, you can reduce your search results by adding additional filters or using the "^" sign in your search to exclude words. For example, if you wanted to search on "2023 Topps Chrome" but didn't want to see "Refractor" sets. You could search on "2023 Topps Chrome ^Refractor" and this would eliminate all of the refractor sets. You can add multiples too, to reduce results even more... like "2023 Topps Chrome ^Refractor ^Heritage"

I placed an order, realized I bought a card I didn't need, and went to use the "Delete Card" feature. The order has completely disappeared. I assume it is in a holding queue for the seller to review, but it would be nice to have visibility still.

Please contact us through the site about specific issues. Go to Help/Contact Sportlots and under the buyer section, select "Other Questions". Please provide as much info as possible. Order ID (if you know it) Seller ID, The card you deleted, etc..

My sales have dropped a shocking amount this month. Anyone else seeing decreased sales traffic? Hoping its just a little blip, but has been on the heels of some moderate decreases in previous months as well (which seem in line with what others have mentioned).

I mentioned this in an earlier post but the recent search changes have made the site basically unusable for set collectors...unusable in the sense of time consuming and tedious. I've ordered from you multiple times and would continue to do so but I've found that I don't have the patience to use the site anymore.

Here is the post I believe he is referring to:

Higher value cards will usually go to comc or ebay so I use sportlots mostly for set collecting as I'm sure many others do. But, they recently disabled the ability to search using the pipe/vertical bar like this:
1977 o-pee-chee (135|137|146|148)

When that's entered, all of the pipe characters are removed, leaving
1977 o-pee-chee (135137146148) which of course leads to no results. I contacted customer service and they stated that it was disabled because it was stressing their servers.

I don't know if there's any sellers here who may have noticed any reduction in sales but this search change could be a factor. I know I'm going to use the site less simply because it's too time consuming to search without that ability.

If this is referring to the ability to use pipes "|" (as suggested by someone else), I can tell you that since Feb, 2022 only four registered users (including you) have used this ability. I had to recently disable this ability because it was extremely expensive and time consuming. At the time I noticed it, one of the registered users submited 10+ searches at the same time and it nearly brought down the server.

This was an emergency fix to prevent the server from collapsing. This ability will not be brought back in the near term as there are more pressing updates reguired to the site. But it is something that we can review at a later date.

Sportlots, I recently messaged you with the details of a purchase that I never received. What went wrong there? The seller was well established but appeared to never ship the cards. At least Tracking was never entered. He asked for 6 more days but still never shipped. The cards are not in his inventory and I'm still interested. I have the refund available to purchase.

That is fascinating...apparently I search for and/or collect differently then most others. Thank you for the information! Guess I'll either have to find a different way to search or stick to ebay/comc.

Yes there are some many ways people collect, so they want to search in different ways. They want the best and easiest ways for them. All depends on what you collect or buying. Sets/players/teams/oddball/you name it

A few years back sportlots was my go-to site. I got any issues or questions taken care of in a short time frame. I did not agree with all of them but understood why. He even replies here. That cannot be said about E-Bay or COMC.

The reason sportlots is not my go to site now? I can find cards but only 1 or 2 from one seller. Now when I find 30 or so card from 25 sellers even using the box shipping is a lot more than the cards are worth to me. I keep looking and hoping I will find one or two sellers with more than just a few cards. I could go into the details how I did it but no one really wants to know.

May - 201 sales $1207
June - 204 sales $1200
July - 154 sales $1125
Aug/Sep - I vacationed my store to get house projects done & focus on work.
Oct through Oct 14 - 26 sales $133

Unless a major uptick is coming in the back half of Oct, this will likely be my last month as a seller for a while. Fee structure of 23%-20% is just too big of a pill to swallow if this is a new normal of what a sales month is going to look like. The site 'enhancements' made this summer don't seem to have had a positive effect on traffic or sales for anyone that has posted in this thread.

Just what I have heard from a several sellers. When they take their 2 week vacation it takes a month or more to get back to normal.

My experience as well. It can be quite punishing to take a month off. The seller levels are calculated on a rolling 3 month average, so one month off and it absolutely crushes you for the next 3 months.

I personally think seller levels should be based more on the combination of listed inventory (perhaps even new inventory added over the past 12 months) and performance rather than simply dollars sold. That said, I'm sure there's no real right answer to this - so what they have in place is probably good enough.

It does feel very punitive to me as a really damn good seller.

Sportlots' entire business model doesn't work if good sellers don't use the platform, there is very little outreach or incentive other than getting to a reasonable fee amount with increased sales to be a good seller on the platform. It is frustrating, and flyercle, you bring up a good point that the seller rating system is flawed by not taking performance & new inventory into account.

I usually do box shipment, using several sellers per order, and I try to get at least 5 items from each individual seller, using sellers that have free or discounted box shipping rates.

If I were to buy 1 or 2 items from an individual seller (in the same multi-seller order), am I hurting that seller in any way, in regards to fees?

Trying to be a courteous buyer here.

I *believe* that when you place a larger order containing multiple sellers, the PayPal fee is spread out among all sellers in the order. Because of that, I think that 1-2 card orders are preferred when they are part of a larger order.

One of the biggest issues with the site as a buyer is the seller vacation mode. All items are removed from the buyer's shopping cart permanently. Its possible buyers that were planning on purchasing from you moved onto other items or sellers in the interim. It can be a lot of work to find items from a seller that make it worth the postage to buy from a seller, and to see the items suddenly vanish is frustrating.
