Interesting, it's possible Beckett changed the description too. It just says Refractors.

Unless you are uploading very recent releases, I wouldn't make my store live until I was at 10,000 cards or more in my inventory.

I have built a excel spreadsheet for my collection and it has taken me years to get it where it is now. I still come across descriptions that do not match what sites have listed now. (Not all site label them the same). I'm 100% sure that I copied them when I added them to my excel file. Is a pain looking for a card titled one thing and just to find out that title was changed a little and now I have 2 sets listed when there is only one set.

Default Search no longer usable

Higher value cards will usually go to comc or ebay so I use sportlots mostly for set collecting as I'm sure many others do. But, they recently disabled the ability to search using the pipe/vertical bar like this:
1977 o-pee-chee (135|137|146|148)

When that's entered, all of the pipe characters are removed, leaving
1977 o-pee-chee (135137146148) which of course leads to no results. I contacted customer service and they stated that it was disabled because it was stressing their servers.

I don't know if there's any sellers here who may have noticed any reduction in sales but this search change could be a factor. I know I'm going to use the site less simply because it's too time consuming to search without that ability.

Using the Fresh Inventory checkbox on the left has saved me a lot of trouble in a scenario similar to this. If you use the site more often than every 30 days you can at least narrow down results of say 1977 O-Pee-Chee so you're only seeing what's new.

Speaking of that, I've been meaning to drop something here about "Fresh Inventory."

I really would like Fresh Inventory to be adjustable or changed. I check sportlots multiple times a week for multiple reasons and the ability to see truly fresh inventory, I would define this as one week like Beckett Marketplace does, would be HUGE for me.

Also, did they fix the "search by seller" thing? I swear I clicked on a seller's name recently and instead of showing me their shipping grid (which never made sense to me to begin with) it took me to that seller's inventory! Assuming I wasn't high, that is a great solution. Very intuitive.

Wonder if sellers have noticed a changes in purchase - the site has become pretty difficult to navigate. Frustrated daily trying to do bigger orders.

I am on a much smaller scale than most sportlot sellers, but except for a mildly decent July, that is what I have experienced as well since March.

Maybe, but it's functionally much better than BuySportsCards (browsing session issues, scrolling issues on the filters, can't separate sellers in the cart) and the shopping cart features are superior to Beckett Marketplace and eBay.

So are you guys suggesting that you believe the new site design is negatively affecting sales? Or still too early to call? As a very frequent shopper on there, I am enjoying the redesign/upgrades/updates/whatever. Not perfect, but better meets my needs.

Buyer not a seller and pro and cons for sure but I just find navigating the site to be more difficult than before. Lot less intuitive as far as moving around. Maybe just a readjustment to a new norm but I struggle with it.

No, that's important. If you are, then you can bet there are plenty more out there like you. Can you point out one or two things specifically that make it harder to navigate? I use the site so much that I can't even recall what took a learning curve even though it was just this year that it happened.

I should also say I solely use the site on my desktop computer and never my phone.

Yes, please be specific in what difficulties you are having. The site redesign upgraded tech, allowed for mobile friendly design and incorporated a lot of enhancements that many had asked for. If there is anything missing, please let me know specifically what is missing. Either there is functionality that you are missing that I can help with.. or we missed something and can look to see if we can improve.
