Maybe FF is not the best example since it was heavily influenced by the 2020 market but Topps has to be thinking about capitalizing on the money being spent.
Exactly why I predict Sapphire will be 250+.

No, 500 is too high, but Topps is seeing what things are going for on the secondary market and won't let the sneakerheads and bot users take all that profit. Too much new blood in this hobby. Lots of new money. Things aren't like 2 years ago.

I do not see it being that high but Topps is not leaving near as much on the table as in the past.
My cost on Bowman Draft is over double what it was 2 years ago.

Just look at Ben Baller Chrome. Yea, it's a gimmicky, one-off product but do you think Topps would've charged $250 for it 5 years ago?

That probably served as a nice little experiment for them.

Default Right

Right, at 350 to 500 anywhere in there I'm not buying FF. I have to hope there are buyers at $700 for a solid flip. At that price point as well I also have to worry about ripping, I don't want to rip a $400 box and then you get crap. 125 to 200 I was free to do pretty much anything with the box. I could rip it and know that I could at least flip the singles for what I paid or I could flip them for 250 to 350 relatively easy.

Feels like 2019 in here. All the exact same discussion and exact same points. Boom $50 a box. Instant excitement for everyone. Nobody could complain (other than those that weren't quick enough on the keyboard). People could rip at $50 box and feel great. And people could flip the crap out of them. And they all were gone in minutes. Everyone won! Plus it help keep the buzz up for future products.

All the same discussion and points are brought up on every new release ever in the history of this board.

It's true. It's damn true. Someone throw a Kurt Angle GIF in here now.

With 32 cards per box, I cannot see a very high initial price point from Topps. I am thinking $49.99 maybe $74.99 but under $100.00 for sure.

My guess is $99.99. Would think I'm more likely to be high than low.

I was hesitant because the price was $300, but I went ahead and got 2 boxes. Total was $650 with tax and shipping for 2 boxes.

Dissapointed that it’s $300. Was hoping for less.

Welp, this will be yet another product to skip out on since I'm not an MC member.

$300 MC price for 32 cards? Get out of here.

The breaks for this are going to be crazy expensive too.

If I even get one I don't think I will be able to bring myself to rip for the price
