I agree that #700 is the "true" rookie card of Ohtani.
Just wish that the images of #700 and #US1 were viceversa.
Topps did a terrible job on photoshopping the #700.

The ONLY Shohei Ohtani Baseball Magazine (BBM) authenticated autographed baseball in the world

- limited to 100 made
- big, bold, full/original Japanese autograph
- certified by BBM, the foremost baseball card & magazine company in Japan (equivalent to Topps in the US)
- the certified BBM LOA shows an image of Ohtani during the actual signing session on February 19, 2016 at Nago Municipal Stadium, Okinawa, Japan

- commemorates Shohei's historic 2015 NPB season, where he won the Pacific League's pitching Triple Crown (3冠) - wins (勝), ERA (防) and winning percentage (率), as seen on the photo of Shohei with 5 cakes celebrating this achievement

No way Ohtani is signing with the Jays. The guy has his choice of landing spots for 500+. Nothing against the Blue Jays but they are not a top 10 org, are in Canada, and Ohtani would probably lose 1/2 his salary in taxes. If Ohtani hates LA he'd just go to SF or if he hates California, Yay Cubs. If he hates the US but wants to play in the MLB... I guess Canada but all of the MLB and everyone outside of Toronto would be sad. Terrible for the hobby too.

I saw that early this morning and I really hope he's not signing there. I don't think Vlad or Bo will resign because their contracts are going to be up soon! He'll basically be like Trout if those guys leave.
