Those are some insane hits, holy cow. Congrats on the red spectrum!

Apparently many of the red spectrums have very off centering on the back, so it’s pretty standard. Im noticing it here and was eyeing a Storm red spec on eBay the other day that had a similar thing on the back. UD had one job for this top insert…oh well, it’s a 1/1 anyway.

For the record most groups of 5 or 10 packs will not yield anything like this lol. This is some crazy luck.

For real. Epack site is such a joke with the lag. They need to overhaul the whole thing, get it running on a better system. The format is just not good. Even the transferring cards to comc is tedious and slow…if I’m not mistaken has to be done individually.

I’m not an epack trader but the trades that do come my way are always, to a T, way out of balance against me. I can’t imagine trying to trade on a large scale.

Thanks so much! I'm still considering whether to grade it or not. The Emma OA owner has been in touch with me already, but comps are all over the place, and there just isn't enough sales history to quantify potential sales gains in getting it graded. Not sure what the best course of action is.

And I agree - it was a fortunate few orders (1, 2, or 3 packs at a time).I also got a couple of Ambers(Cloak and Death Bird) and a teal Weapon X vs. The Program Battle Spectrum, but that should be enough for me.

Yea hard to comp I agree. That Storm red spec did sell btw for near $2500 I believe, so that might be a helpful comp considering it’s somewhat apples to apples. It did stay up for multiple days, so it wasn’t like one person jumping on it in the first 10 seconds.

Personally I don’t get the whole grading 1/1s thing but I fully understand that the market- especially the people putting that kind of money down- appreciate grading and the officialness that comes with it. Hard to tell how much a boost it will be. The back centering would probably prevent a 10. Grading a card that expensive with PSA will be into the hundreds.

A lot of the big incentives are gone so this makes sense
-Canvas achievement, which seemed to be driving a lot of this
-Spider-Man painting
-Spider-Man red spectrum

Someone at UD probably silently muttering…why did those have to be hit so early.

When you factor in there aren’t gallery variants such as green or gold 1/1s, gotta take a look at what’s left:

Uncut sheets
Prelim art original sketches
DDS sketches (maybe?)
The other achievements
Plates
Red spectrum/red Preserved amber 1/1s
BSG green and golds

So there is a good amount still out there, but something tells me those canvas achievements were what was really causing the frenzy.

Seems that the ungraded Scarlet Witch Red also sold recently for about that price (maybe even from the ePack release?) so I feel like that plus the fact that the person who owns the OA wants it makes it somewhat in the arena.

Anyway, talking about just pricing is boring! I wanted to commend you for your dedication to this thread and the other tracker thread. It's always so cool to see people responding well to Marvel and I remember way back in the day when we were "marveling" at $20 packs. How times have changed...

Sure thing. And man I wish we could go back to those days of $15-20 packs. In 2016 I never thought I’d ever hear myself saying that. Haha. It was outrageous at the time for 3 cards.

I’ll have to get around the updating to the red spectrum tracker with the new onslaught of them from ePack. Even with ePack out now, and even after it sells out, the thread will still have some utility to know what’s not possible to hit anymore in a physical box going forward. Probably should do that soon before people remove their 1/1s off the platform. Thanks for sharing yours- just an outstanding hit! This is what most people are dreaming of.

Bought 7 loose packs, no flashers, nothing of note. That was a painful lesson.

Went on COMC and bought a full canvas set plus 25 other cards (mix of Tiers 1-3) for under the price of 2 packs. Very little reason to open packs on this one unless you're just desperate to pull the lever.

I don't think that's ever happened since 2016 Masterpieces. UD has been accused of holding certain artist sketches back for epack, but the base and insert printed art has been the same across physical and epack releases.

I think the expectation was different this time because Dan himself was told by UD that there would be unreleased art included in the epack release. I wasn't collecting in 2016-2020, so not sure if the artists said similar things then.

Yeah that's what I was basing it off of. I know I saw a different Magneto piece. Guess I'll have to wait for the book!

What am I doing wrong on comc? Why do I have to send a card to elit processing before I send it to ebay to sell?

No. If you go into your Inventory Manager, you'll see an Actions fly-out menu. Do you not have "Send to Auction" as an option?

The site used to be more usable. I don’t recall always having to wait and wait for everything to load. It is painful now.

Also, this is the absolute best time to be trading MM22. It only gets worse from here. Once the big achievements are gone, a decent percentage of those trading stop trading. Once a set sells out, it’s like it never existed.

It’s just a way for COMC to collect another fee, isn’t it? All unique cards (serial numbers, sketches) transferred from e-Pack should have a scan.

I opened a box got last nite got an ash Martinez sketch not clue if it’s good but have around 12 trade offers In last few hours. I only opened because 2016 marvel masterpiece was amazing don’t know much bout the new set

Yeah I have a send to auction option but when I try to send it it says I have to reprocess as elite and then it takes 2 to 4 days to come back as processed

I've encountered the same thing but only for certain cards. Maybe there was a promotion going on when I went to send some cards to eBay but I know I didn't have to pay the $2 elite processing fee for some of them.

It doesn't make sense that COMC would need to scan the card, which is all elite processing seems to be, but apparently they use a better scanner.

For anyone keeping track, there are now 139,459 MM22 cards on the e-Pack marketplace. Yesterday at 10PM ET there were 100,681 cards.
