A lot of people really tightened them like they were attaching something to a wall. Had a few that got returned N5 from PSA, but SGC graded the same cards. These were all eBay purchases in non-recessed screwdowns with penny sleeves. Even with penny sleeves, issues can occur. It is especially apparent with cards like 1986 Topps baseball and 1986 Fleer basketball. Under a loupe the damage is there.

So what happens in those cases? They keep your $ and send them back ungraded?

They will continue to increase in value. Steadily and surely.

Anyway, you guys get the picture. Im torn between where to send it to. I think I have a 9 but I guess it depends on whether or not whoever grades my cards got a good night sleep the night before. Ill post the results when I get em back.

I thought I would post the rest of the best cards I got in the deal. I also got 5 huge binders full of bayarea legends cards from the 80s and 90s mostly all in mint condition. But here are the other best ones.

Imagine scouring the forums, seeing the headline “I just came up on a goldmine,” excitingly opening it…and then encountering THIS.

The term goldmine means different things to different people. If you mean a few hundred dollars then yeah you did!

This 100000%! You came here with questions and got serious answers by people who know but all you did is argue with them and called them rude and negative because you didn't get the answers you thought you were going to get. Everything that everyone here has said has been spot on if you choose not to believe it that's entirely up to you.

It seems as if you have already made up your mind that these are all 9s and 10s so send them in to PSA and be done with it. All I ask is that you please come back and post your results when you get them. If everyone is way off and these all come back 9s and 10s Ill be the first to congratulate you and say we were all wrong.

Hate to say it, but your definition of MINT needs to be recalibrated. I don’t see a single 9 in this bunch. They are all OC or diamond cut which is typical for this era. . I’m sure there are plenty of issues if you posted better pictures. You are at best break even on these and the rice / montanas after grading & selling fees. Your profit is going to be on the time consuming process of moving the other 3k cards.

I’d say it’s closer to a canary in a coal mine. (Well not really I just really wanted to add that phrase to this thread)

Send some to PSA, some to BGS, and some to SGC.

I was thinking it could be a mine of silver (BGS labels). Perhaps it still brings the OP a solid ROI.
