Bulk editor is working for records

Yes it is being required to have card condition. I have been having to add it to new listings

I've listed 3 today without it. Ebay is so screwed up sometimes

Desktop. I Would select VG and it would just not fill in on some. I'll try again later since it worked on the others.

Same problems here. Guess I'll leave it alone for a week and see what happens.

Did you end them first and then relist them individually?

NO...I presume you are trying their new excel bulk edit? I guess I am doing it old school. I click on my listings...go to edit...from there I select edit item specifics and go through those individually

No, I tried to bulk edit, and that failed. Then I went in like you did, and tried to edit them individually while live - tried to add the "no" specific for "graded" and got hung up on the condition invalid message. I guess all that's left to try is to end them and try relisting them?

Sorry I couldnt be of help. Works for me now, last week there were numerous errors. Bright side is looks like they are slowly getting fixed.

Also having issues with item specifics autofill updating. Typically will grab item specifics from listing titles and plug them in. Team, player, card #. None of it is working properly when you use the sell similar feature after posting a listing. I use the sell similar feature to just go from card to card in a set. So say Card 1 is Dallas Cowboys, Tony Romo, Card #300. All that info gets stuck in the sell similar listing for the next card and you have to manually enter the specifics otherwise it'll double up (list two teams, two player names in specifics, card # just doesn't take). For now I'm just taking them out since it just adds time to the process to fill it in manually. But I'm a completionist so this annoys tf out of me

Are you on an app or laptop/PC? I only have a couple cards listed but when I had to edit specifics the same thing happened to me, but when I got the error message or whatever there was a small blue link I could click on to edit it and after doing that it worked. It was days ago so I cannot remember exactly. The link only showed up after failing to edit it originally.

Ebay is FUBAR, had 40 auctions end tonight everything way under comps because nobody could find them searching by sport. Lamelo ball /88 graded psa 9 went for 50% less than raw version sold for a week ago. Thanks Ebay

Sent them a message on Ebay for Business Facebook page, I'd encourage everybody to do the same.

I think everyone is down from this time one year ago I am down 6.8% from last month and almost 10% from last year the overall card market on Ebay is down more than 10% though in the past month. However it has been down every month since January and continues to fall. Its not just Ebays changes causing it the market is weakening overall the ride is about to be over. I am still selling cards but listing fewer and fewer there are far more better items to list that are more profitable out there.

I don't think this will help anybody, but the approach I took was to use the bulk listing to change the Category on my lots (all my lots and singles ended up in the new singles category) and now I'll go in individually to add Sport and the other item specifics. I tried using the bulk item specifics download but it didn't want to work (doesn't help that my computer sucks). Luckily I am a very, very small seller and can just go through individually and it'll give me the opportunity to adjust my S/H prices on older listings, clean up formatting, etc. Can't imagine being a huge seller trying to do this.

My bulk editor worked for what I did have to change but most of my item details were already filled out. Still had about 50 cards and about 80 records to do(the records were still horrible) The editor worked for me. This morning I have been listing some cards I have been needing to list for a week and so far everything is autofilling for me in the specifics based on the title.

I like it because I was very bad about listing items and forgetting to change categories on my templates. Like say I was listing 50items mixed between basketball baseball and football. Now as long as I ensure the sport is in the title the item specific auto fills it for me when I change. That is saving time for me..

Only buyer issues for search would be say searching 2020 Donruss. If they do not specify sport it will feed everything to them. They would need to specify the sports.

At least they did not go with their earlier plan for the specifics on cards. Would have been a bigger mess Also be glad they gave you warning to make the changes when they did it in clothing it was immediate no warning.

Another plus for it is something it did in clothing it helped eliminate some of the search manipulation. I know if you put PSA? in a title now the system may kick that back. It should also do it for multiple grading companies in the title of cards marked ungraded if it works correctly like it should but not gonna hold my breath.

I got one to work after receiving the error message "condition not valid for primary category" message. Clicked "edit listing" and basically after revising the entire listing including the graded yes/no category, it seemed to work. 139 to go!

Are you using the app or desktop? Bulk editor is working and makes it easier at least on the app. I did the hundred or so I did have to do out if about 900 cards in about 2 minutes.

Go to dashboard. Find button for items needing required specifics. Click on that then add them all and select edit all. Then there is a box that will have item specifics click that then go from there.

I have about 70 to relist older stuff and will lower prices to move with 98 others to revise. not bad for over 1400 listings that were affected.
