I feel like pitchers know his strength is lining high fastballs so they're elevating them out of the zone and he's chasing them for really weak fly ball contact. Hope he adjusts soon.

Pitching but not hitting today. Not Ohtani's fault for this. Stassi / Upton are day to day so the bench is very thin today.

Not sharp at all in 1st, better control bet meh command in 2nd. Probably puts it together in 3rd. Hard to complain since his pitching schedule has been so erratic, but gotta lock in quicker.

The first five balls in a row had me a little concerned....he starts really slow!

Man... I wish I could have thrown 95-97mph that effortlessly when I played!

His motion looks much smoother than it did a couple outings back. The trade off is that he is not throwing 101mph, but I’ll take 97mph with better location and less effort over the course of 80 pitches any day of the week.

That was really, really, really bad.

The only logical explanation is that it was so good, the ump didn't know what to do with it.
