Well obviously lol. First editions are great to have but FIRST PRINTS are the golden goose! I didn’t know it was first print and signed yeh I wouldn’t sell that.

Also- if anyone is a book collector and you’re looking for a rare copy of a book or even a signed copy of a normal book- I’m a 10 minute walk to Powell’s Books in Portland. I’d be happy to pick up for you and mail to you.

You know on the other end I talked myself into why people are grabbing up blu ray and dvd's. Yeah there is a TON of them, but if it magically doesn't come back into print, one of the greatest films of all time... grab it while you can? I already own it but I'm seeing the appeal of grabbing the disk now even if I think it's jumping the gun so to speak.

I still feel like in a year you’ll be seeing copies in thrift stores again

future copies could be edited to appease the offended, so these could hold value. i doubt it will pulled, but you never know. i need to go look for my copy somewhere.

No offense intended but how would you edit slavery and the civil war out of gone with the wind? You'd have a hell of a shorter movie. It'd be like Titanic without the boat sinking part.

Well back when it was released the studio got a LOT of flack for using the word "damn" on screen. Imagine if they saw a Rob Zombie film lol.

Gotta love free stuff. Showed up at a garage sale in the last 5 minutes not expecting them to have much left. They are putting everything on the lawn and say it is all free. Only find a couple small things but then they start to mention their card tables with folding legs are free as well. I end up getting two of these tables, one square and one rectangle (of course technically they are both rectangles ). This is exactly what I need as a shipping center. Right now I just try to make space on my counter or by my home work station to try to get packages ready to ship. I had been thinking about getting a folding table for that reason and I am really glad I passed on a new sealed one for $20 earlier in the day.

1997-98 Karl Malone Bowman’s Best Preview Refractor

Each were purchased for $1 each and are all mint.

Found some random Canon BCI-21 sealed ink printer color & black cartridges for 25 cents a piece.

Finally, the coolest find was an old paperback book from 1942, titled “Mit Uns Im Osten” or translated “With Us In the East.”

It’s an all German Nazi produced book that chronicles the war and battles primarily in Russia during that time period. It’s about 100 pages long and has lots of very interesting photos nearly every page. It’s all in German, so I can’t read it, unfortunately. In the back, there is a huge folded map that charts each battle in Russia and descriptions in various cities. Have no idea the value, but I’m insanely interested in WWII memorabilia and I couldn’t help but pick this up.

I'm 42 and never learned to read the old German writing, I can read a few words. Needs probably a 65 and older German or someone who is into that.

Today found a Sony MXD-D3 Minidisc Recorder with the remote at goodwill. It was $10. They sell for around $200 if they work, so I went on ebay and ordered a recordable minidic for $3 so I can test it out.

Should have took more pics since kind of hard to tell everything in there, but prob 10-15 loose figures, motorcycles and lots of other stuff. Looks like the sword alone could be $10-20. All marked Bandai 1998, 1999, 2000, 2007, other years....here are some pics

If you have time, I would sell them separate. It is more work but a better return.

Thanks. I haven’t bought them yet. Was mainly wondering if anyone thought it was well worth my time. I just don’t have any experience with Powers Rangers, but it seems like there is a bunch in there.

Don't know what it is but I keep getting lucky with free stuff for the last month. I went to a rummage on Sunday morning so it wasnt even close to closing time. However when I show up the person said everything was free. Just said she needed it all gone. I picked up a board game that I think will sell for about $15-20 and a few other things that may or may not end up selling for like $5. So no big deal there. However I got a huge tub full of 2 sets of wire modular shelving. These run about $35 each on ebay and I really needed some to organize my house so was really glad to get those. However my biggest score was something I almost didn't grab. There was a bobble head but I thought it cant be worth much. I get home and see it was an extremely limited giveaway and none have sold in the last 90 days. Only other one listed is for over $200. Now of course that is just a listed price so they can ask anything, but I wonder if it is listed that high as the person has access to sold comps from before the last 90 days and knows it sells well since it is so limited. I will have to just wait and see how well it ends up doing but it could potentially be a nice surprise. I am lucky it was free as if it was even like $3 I wouldnt have bought it.

If you have a store you can use terapeak to look beyond the 60 days or whatever of the bobblehead. You can also sometimes google it and find prices on other sites or even older sales. of it.

Why wait and see? That sounds like a good possible auction item if you cannot find anything on it. Those are items I love to find and list like that. I would not have hesitated to buy it at even 10 dollars. Of course I would have looked it up there.

I found 2 non-working Keurigs in a free box once. I took them pulled the reservoir off sold them on Ebay for 35.00 each The rest went to a local e-waste charity.

Redskins stuff has been selling like hotcakes since the name change news. I've also been making a ton retail arbitraging from TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Burlington the last couple weeks. I avoided them when they reopened because I just didn't want to stand in line for hours to get in the door and to checkout. But I've spent around $500 on clothing, shoes, etc for around $2k net.

We literally ~just got lifted into phase one of reopening last week. I’m finding not having a vehicle very difficult for this type of work lol. It just takes so long using the bus and then I have to be mindful of big and/or heavy #@#@#@#@.

Why can’t I ever randomly come across a Car in the Bins xD

Not bad for a $15 investment. Garnett jersey had 1 tiny stain that I got right out.
