Maybe - but the policy is that if the two cards go over $20 they do offer the service with insurance up to $50.

In fact, I've had other orders with a higher value that would allow for the eBay Standard (I shipped First Class on them) - not sure if it's a glitch or some kind of setting maybe.

You gotta love a message like this on a SE card that you have 4 of listed from a potential buyer.

I am interested in purchasing one of these XXXXX XXXXXXX Sapphire edition cards from you . Is the pictured card in your listing the best centered out of the 4 that you have ? So far , I haven't seen any of this specific players sapphire card without a thin right border .At least not one that the seller isn't asking an outrageous amount of money for . This is a base Sapphire card but due to the fact that a Sapphire is blue and the Cubs blue make them desirable to Cubs fans as I am sure that you are well aware of . Plus , the Sapphire Edition cards are expensive . Especially once the flippers get a hold of the boxes . Please reply if you wish .

My reply
Cards are nrmt and with that said if needed I would suggest buying a graded as these are raw. Have a nice day.

His response

Just wanted to know if the pictured card was the best centered card that you have . Don't appreciate your attitude and opinion on what type of cards I need to buy . Just say you don't have any well centered cards of this player .
Good luck with your cards .

I left it at that , no need to poke the bear over cards that are less than $10.

Is it a multi quantity listing or 4 individual listings. Saw someone on another site mention that if say you have a multi quantity listing of the same card and sell all 4 to the same buyer the system is seeing that as one single item not 4. It that is the case it would be checking the price prediscounted then that could be where the issue is.

That's got to be it - it is for sure on the most recent one.

You know, I read all of these crazy messages you guys post, here and in other places, and I am just not having that experience at all.

I have set my parameters to block any bidder/buyer that has 2 or more non-payments within the last month.

I wonder if that's just a coincidence.

I have that set up as well, but that block does not stop them from messaging you, you just have not gotten hit by them. The same thing for non-payers and everything else I have very few of them maybe 1 in every 800 to 1000 items sold. Sometimes I wonder why the same people have the same non-paying issues over and over is it just bad luck or is there some other issue we are not being told.

This does not exist anymore fyi. There is no such thing as payment strikes for a while now.

I think you have been lucky lol.

I have now been hit with 2 negatives, 2 neutrals for non receipt + a person that won an item, tried to negotiate AFTER winning, I said no and cancelled, and he left a negative. Everyone has been reported to eBay to fall on deaf ears.

Literally all scum are coming out the last month or so.

I literally get messages, that I ignore, from people that say, hey if I buy these 2 can you cut me a deal (both cards listed at $2 each). Both also below market as well. I just...cant...

If those non-delievery show delievered you can get them removed. YOu cannot just use the report buyer at the end of the feedback. That link does not do crap. Best results is going to Facebook and contacting them through Ebay for Business or throught the live chat on Ebay. Both get the best results the live chat is a lot faster.

They did not do away with non-payment strieks it clearly says in the write up on it they stil get strikes. All they did was speed up the process.

So how many days is it to cancel for nonpayment to give them a strike?

I've had quite a few non payments myself. I'd estimate about 2-4% of all auctions end in a non payment. It hasn't really cost me yet though because I've relisted and they go higher.

I've never had a non payment on a BIN. I don't even know how that's possible.

When I get them its never low feedback either. Right now have one with 4682 feedback that looks like is going to be a non-payer after making an offer.

After 96 hours have passed you can manually cancel it for reason buyer never paid they get a strike. If you have the auto set up it automatically cancels on the 5th day.

If that's true, then you are correct that I am very fortunate, but to say I have a lot of non-payment striked buyers trying to buy my cards would be an understatement. The list is fairly long. Sometimes I think people who send these crazy messages would also be the same type to change their mind after agreeing to buy your item. The messages just ooze of that type of buyer.

Account>Selling Preferences>"Blocked buyer list" EDIT. That'll get you there.

A little under 1500 cards

I believe it's 4 days. After 4 days you file non-payment with ebay. They give the buyer a chance and if the buyer still doesn't pay then they get a strike.

9 times out of 10 it's super low fb, a couple have been in the 100's at most but mostly around 25 or less. Most of them never pay never communicate. Every once in a while I get a request to cancel because (insert some lame excuse). Right now from my Sunday auctions I have one I'm still waiting to pay with FB of 25. I'm guessing it will get cancelled tonight since I"m set up to auto cancel with Ebay.

I believe it's 4 days. After 4 days you file non-payment with ebay. They give the buyer a chance and if the buyer still doesn't pay then they get a strike.
They no longer get extra time after you file. It's now immediate.vvoncevyou cancel for payment not received it's done. You have to wait at least 96 hours after before that cancellation option appears

I have a group of about six buyers who did best offer or counter that I am waiting on - feedback ranges from 44 to 4000+.

I have one who really lowballed a bunch of listings that I must have missed the auto decline setting on - I took one offer, countered and he accepted two of them. I declined his offer repeatedly on a Luis Robert. He hasn't paid yet and I wonder if he's going to be childish and not pay for the others because I wouldn't accept half price.

I think the more you have listed the more you tend to get the traffice (good or bad) - I get 2-3 folks per week who ask silly questions but have only had maybe 1-2 non-payers since building up my inventory.

I'm finding very few of my tire kickers actually ever turn in to buyers.

I ran across a seller who has a setting where you can not message them because they are such a huge seller. I wonder what level I need to be at to get that deal.
