No sketches, sticker chase autos, pass. I'm sure there's a market out there for this, but not from me. I'm not saying it's a bad product, it's just not for me. What's left? Parallels? Jyn Erso rookie cards?
I will start breaking when this hits 2015 Topps High Tek Football prices. Until then, I will cautiously be buying scrub autos on ebay. |

Nothing on the sell sheet about them. No artists talking about it. Nothing on blowouts case breakdown.
But at the rate Topps fills redemptions, they very well could be packed out as redemptions and you'd get them in the same amount of time ... |

I know quite a few people breaking this. Doesn't need sketches to sell it, that's not the point of this product. Many of the sketches of last year's were so-so quality anyways. Rather chase parallel rainbows, and yes I think the Jyn cards will sell well.
I'm in a break where you get a group of 4 characters per case, it'll be fun! |

This is the last Star wars product I committed to a case of with my local dealer. I went for a full case mainly on the promise of all on-card autos, now you can't even trust Topps to fulfill that. I have resolved to commit to no more than 4 boxes of any product with my dealer to satisfy my "gotta have it now" urge and to assemble a base set and most insert sets (for most products). Then I might bite on cheap cases once the price drops.

The biggest cards last year were the Daisy SP cards. My full case was paid for by hitting Boyega's red auto. Very few products these days lets you pay for a full case with just one hit. I'd like to see pack wrappers to do the odds (or rather so JD can do the odds )

Singles are hitting eBay as Hong Kong is already breaking the product. Like always.
This is an easy pass for me. Screwed over on MW2 so bad that I'll never touch another new product. The stickers here just solidify my decision. I'm sure I'll pick up some singles as I loved the 2015 product.

I was going to put in for a break of this and was given the ok do run up to five cases. The way it was run last year makes the most sense.
A character/hit draft with: 112 cards in the set - all base and variations 3 insert sets 12 hits per case The price depends on how many cases are run. Three cases = $725 * 3 = 2175/151 spots = $14.41 + paypal & shipping = $18.50/$16.50 Four cases = $725*4 = 2900/163 spots = $17.80 + paypal & shipping = $22.00/$20.00 Five cases = $725*5 = 3625/175 spots = $20.72 + paypal & shipping = $25.00/$23.00 Let me know how many cases and that is what I will do. Planning on submitting it tonight.

Would we be assigned the character/card/hit slot ahead of time, or would we pick them as our "pick", like a draft? For $25 it's worth a gamble, although it could be entirely possible to not get anything.

Of the cards on eBay so far, I haven't seen any pattern variances ... are they all the same patterns this time round? The promo material showed a Kylo Ren and an Anakin Skywalker with a different pattern / background, but that's all I've seen so far.
Is this simply the sellers waiting till they see what they have, or are the patterns much more scarce this time round? I guess we might not know for a few days. |

In addition with this method even if you get a base or two you're still potentially paying out $25 for these. This is for more than 60% of the spots. Seems pretty rough. |

1) inserts were very tough last year. 1-3 per case, sometimes none 2) you aren't taking into account that you get ALL the base for that spot. If you hit a black 1/1, or the hardest variation, or a print proof 1/1, you get it along with any other versions of your base. It's a group break, of course there is a chance you get nothing. |
