Yes. I mentioned before that up until a couple weeks ago they were adding condition notes for cards that even I had missed. Maybe a print line or slight scratches on chrome/prizm cards. Last couple weeks they arent adding ANY condition notes.

Ill blame it on the new workers.

COMC is insisting it means one of the USPS's agents, which is incorrect

No idea how to proceed here, and COMC hasn't responded to multiple emails.
I'm dealing with the same thing at the moment and that's really useful to know. I'll put the same argument to them and see if I get the same response.

Are you saying they end up in the "raw" bucket?

They haven't been putting condition notes on anything for EX-NM for months now.

I picked up a card that seemed to be a good deal. I bought it right away and repriced it and got back to work. A little later on a decided to check it out and when I zoomed in I see what looks like a thumbtack hole in the top centre of the card.

I removed it from being listed and emailed COMC asking them to verify if it's damaged as it wasn't listed at "Noted". I've yet to receive a reply and that was a week ago...

I finally caved and paid $180 for them to ship a bit over 300 cards by the end of the month. Used the opportunity to pull just about every one of my higher end cards off of there, along with some PC purchases, and some of the nicer cards I can just sell on my own. It knocked my port's total asking price down from 6k to 2k.

I had been gradually using my flip profits to pick up some nice lower-grade HOF vintage for my PC. Finally pulled the trigger on a Campanella rookie and that was the tipping point, I refuse to wait for December for it to arrive.

This is absolutely crazy sounding to me. $180 for shipping....

Depending on where you are in the country, that could be roundtrip airfare.

It sounds like the wheels fell off a long time ago and they're not even trying anymore. It's just sad...

But it's not just shipping... it's a handling fee, and has existed since long before I joined 6 years ago. It's paying the person who is going throughout the warehouse to look up the locations of your 400 cards stored in binder sheets, boxes, etc, putting the raw ones in penny sleeves, and then packaging them safely. And if you're paying the upgraded/Expedited shipping, you're paying those same people to work overtime shifts to get yours done earlier than the regular stack of orders.
COMC has announced that they have hired ~30 new employees in the past few months and are planning to hire 25 more by the end of the year. I am cautiously hopeful that this backlog starts to disappear as those employees are trained and start working full and overtime shifts.

Pretty much. A chunk of that is because I'm in advanced reseller mode, but it is still absurd. I live in L.A., so yes I could absolutely get a round trip plane ticket to Seattle for the cost of that shipment.

Anyone have any experience with a package being sent to COMC headquarters with a tracking status as Delivered to Agent for Final Delivery? I have never seen this before and what little search I did on the internet is vague at best.

Seems like it was delivered to COMC or dropped off somewhere where COMC packages go (like a warehouse).

Thanks! I sure hope that is the case, but who knows with the way shipping has been the last couple of months. Looks like I'm not the only one receiving this status.

COMC pays overtime? Since when?

(and, I'm not being facetious...this never happened when I was there. You got called out for not getting your work done in time. Well, I did, anyways.)

Also, hiring more people is not going to make a difference, especially if there are still limits to the amount of people allowed into the warehouse space at any one time. Unless they start running people in shifts...that would help with the backlog, to be sure.

If you look at it this way. There is a .25 handling fee on each card and $4.99 shipping. At this time it is 6 months out to receive them. so 300 is $75 plus $5 He is paying $100 to get them in 3 weeks instead of 6 month. Just hope there is not a lot of buyers willing to spend an other $100 more or they may take longer.

There is way to many thing we do not know about how thing are going there.
1. Hiring 30 people but how many did they lost when the shut down?
2. What is their system of locating each card? Would it be fast if your order was from one set, one buyer, or ID number close together.
3. Are they running several shifts?
4. How much work can they do at home.
5. How many people are allowed at their offices/warehouse?
6. Smaller orders go faster the large orders? 20 cards vs 300 cards

I can keep going but you get the ideal.

Mentioned in the latest Tim Getsch interview two weeks ago. He starts 1 hour, 30 minutes in.

I'll take your word for it, as I have no interest in listening to a Tim interview...I'm guessing that this may be a covid-related thing, as it wasn't allowed back in the day.

Glad to hear they are doing well at the dollar-per-card level. But for anyone who shipped to Redmond recently: how long did it take for them to acknowledge receipt? A large box I sent them showed up on Monday morning and it hasn’t been acknowledged yet. Wondering if this is a typical wait time right now.

Is there a minimum to receive the code or an expiration date? Thanks in advance.

You mean the SCI10 code for 10 free cards submitted at the Elite level? Expires at end of August, which usually means they have to be mailed by then.

as a postal employee, 'delivered to agent' scan is typically used for signature confirmation items or a receptionist if your housing complex has a 'package services'

What the.......

It doesn't take 12 hours to locate and package 400 cards if they have any semblance of an inventory system.

Also, some good news (maybe). I had a batch due on 7/21 and recently the due date was showing 11/17 (four month delay). Today it shows 10/6 as the due date, so my due date actually moved forward for the first time ever
Now showing 10/2! hoping for more improvements

As per JustMoe they do have a good system.

As per the 12 hours pulling 400 cards. Where do you get the 12 hour from? We have no ideal what the 400 cards are from From a lot of diff sports/non sports, Diff sets, diff years. So yes they may have to run all over the warehouse. Some may be in a diff warehouse.

We have no ideal how many orders they have each day. Or how many people are pulling cards. So one guy has to pull 10 orders of 400 cards each. Yes it may take 12 hours and if your order is on the bottom of his list. too bad.

Is the guy just pulling one order at a time or does he pull serval orders?
Does the one guy do the packaging after he pulls the order?

So much we do not know and never will know. Some people try to make it out that it is easy to do business at this level.

I have my issues with them but they do have to make money. So they are working hard on the actions, E-Bay and charge more form rush shippments. Then next is processing to get more cards to sell. Then Shipping is next and last is customer service. Just IMO

The post I responded to justified the $180 charge by claiming that it just costs that much in labor. Therefore, it must cost $180 just for my order, not for all the orders that guy is responsible for. It doesn't cost $180 for a guy to pull my order alone. If he is responsible for pulling, say, 10 orders, you're okay that COMC customers are paying $1,800 for that??????

Literally, it's going from box to box and pulling cards out. Like I said, if they have any system at all, the guy pulling cards isn't having to go back and forth across the warehouse.
