It helps to know who not to buy from. Always disappointing when desirable cards pop up from sellers that use COMC as a junk dump.

Just because someone has a bunch of rags in their port does not mean they are the ones sumitting them...I just bought a port with 4,998 cards..About 500 of them are damaged and garbage vintage which i listed for between .06-18 cents

Recently, correction requests for condition notes I've submitted aren't being added.

Even on optic and prizm cards that have a printer line going straight through the middle. Or on thicker cards that clearly have corner damage. This is obvious stuff that nobody would be happy to have shipped to them.

I feel bad that somebody would spend $250 on a Luka shock, and be surprised there is a line going through the middle of it.

Same bought 5/10 here and was supposed to ship 8/10. I emailed them (not sure why as I’ll never hear back) just hoping I can get some kind of eta.

Wondering how many hours they are spending doing that and not processing and shipping.

Probably none. It's being done remotely by people not in Redmond.

What's the best way to get a hold of them besides the staff@comc.com e-mail? (No Instagram or Twitter). I've sent them multiple e-mail in the past few weeks with no response. I sent some cards as Current Year and they are processing them as 3 week, costing me over 40 bucks.

Good luck. They only seem to respond on Twitter apparently. I’ve given up trying to get ahold of them.

Facebook, maybe. Or send them a postcard.

I've asked to return a card 3 times. No one responds to my e-mail. Pretty ridicoulous

Does anyone know how long it is taking to take money out? I put in a request to take some funds out via paypal early last week and haven't heard anything. Site says should process in four business days.

I haven't had a cash out since July 23rd, but all of mine in 2020 have been ahead of four business days

I cash out fairly regularly, and usually takes 3 days.

Also, some good news (maybe). I had a batch due on 7/21 and recently the due date was showing 11/17 (four month delay). Today it shows 10/6 as the due date, so my due date actually moved forward for the first time ever

Same. Have a current year that was due 7/15. Moved back and back, 9/5 was there yesterday. Today it shows 8/25. Maybe people have stopped sending because of the backlog.

Pet peeve rant. Guy has a 14 year old card that I believe is priced too high. I make a reasonable offer of 15% off and he declines. He then raises the price of the card. I mean its probably been in your inventory for a very long time and hasn't sold yet you think raising it is going to help?

If that happens to me, I normally will counteroffer at the original price. Seller may have looked it up on watchcount and saw that 15 people were watching it on eBay. Sometimes when a lot of people are watching it on eBay, raising the price will lead to a sale. It's actually a pretty common tactic. People really have FOMO sometimes.

Has anyone had a situation where a package was supposed to be deliverd to COMC but for some reason got bounced back to the local post office instead? My tracking on Ebay is showing as 'delivered' but the actual tracking history says 'Delivered to Agent for Final Delivery' and the Ebay seller thinks that there must have been an attempted delivery at that point.

I raise prices all the time if I check and see the card is underpriced. (or as mentioned above, if I see a lot of people watching a card on ebay I'll reprice accordingly)

Same here. Its hard to keep up with the market especially now. So if I'm already below market and you have the gall to send an offer, thank you very much

I have been watching it for 2 years. I think if it were "underpriced" it would have sold in that time and being that its a card from 2006 and the seller has been on there for a very long time that its been on COMC for a good chunk of time and hasn't sold yet. I get it people here their own prerogative but still makes me wonder sometimes.

My favorite is when I have a hot card and someone low-ball offers me, I raise the price up way higher, and still end up selling it to someone else for the new high price. Just had one that I bought for $5.25 three days ago, priced it at $10, someone offered $6 and I then noticed the second lowest had gone up to $20, repriced it at $18 and sold it this morning, lol. Thanks, low-baller!

Yep. Especially in the market right now where prices seemingly move by the day. If you find a steal or a fair deal, just outright buy it. Making the offer gives the seller the opportunity to check pricing.

Default Has anyone used COMC Mailbox? What's the deal?

Hi all,

I just had some cards shipped to COMC mailbox for the first time. One of the packages arrived and says delivered to mailroom, and two packages say "delivered to agent." I checked with USPS, and delivered to agent means one of COMC's employees, like a front desk receptionist, or mailroom delivery receiver. COMC is insisting it means one of the USPS's agents, which is incorrect.

No idea how to proceed here, and COMC hasn't responded to multiple emails.

I like to test auto accept offers, usually putting it at about 10% off of the original price.

If it doesn't go through, I'll retract my offer if I want the card within seconds and just outright buy it.
