Hard to argue with either choice! I had the 2017 Bowman Mega one of one Otani and didn't want to sell it. When someone offered me a $4000 profit I sold it. I doubt if that card would sell for the same amount now!

It’s a good strategy. Will probably need Acuna to start hitting a few HRs to start the fly wheel spinning the other way. There’s a few min bid auctions at $64.95 ending today. Will be interesting to see if those get hit or buyers waiting for price in the fifties again.

Acuna is simply an amazing player for his age. He's bound to go on an insane run at some point in the season as it progressively warms. As many, I will be sitting back enjoying every minute of it as he continues to grow. Stay focused Acuna & settle for nothing but perfection. Go Braves!

Agree, it is a tough call. The Ohtani 1/1 could also be a $10K card in the future (3-5 year) if he performs well. We might never know. Nothing wrong in taking profits though. Acuna Sapphire #698 Red/10 is a tough card to find. It took me 2 months to find one. I have seen only one for sale on ebay over the past 6 months. I might list it again in summer to see if someone is willing to offer more. I might let it go for >$7000. If not, I will gladly keep it. It's a rare and gorgeous looking card. It is the best card in my Acuna PC. I would take the Sapphire Red over any of his other non-auto non-1/1 rookie cards any day. I would even take it over his 2017 BCP Gold and Orange Refractor Auto any day since I am not a big fan of his 2017 BCP photo/pose. This is just my personal preference.

I’m not very familiar with PSA pop reports....how do I tell if my update psa 10s that just graded are in the pop report yet or not?

Typically when you receive the email that your grades are finished, the cards will in the pop report at that point or within 24 hours. I sometimes see my cards in the pop report before receiving the grades.

Search for the card and its not found it's not in the pop report yet

Easiest way: click on the cert # which is a hyperlink. That page will tell you if it’s on the pop report yet.

Actions have always puzzled me a bit. They are nice looking but in the end can't see how they are more than the Chrome /999 and figured they would eventually correct themselves. I think we are seeing a mix of it with Bellinger.

Print run on actions is about the same as the Chrome 999... and probably comes down to people enjoying the action image. Plus Chromes are probably easier to grade highly, so means actually fewer high grade examples of action.

Thus in the end they go for more

What would make you think these? Both BGS & PSA POP reports suggest that neither are even close to true

Lol, I had the funds to purchase his 2017 BC Gold and Orange Refractor back in Aug-Sep when they were cheap but for some reasonI did not like the appearance/pose and passed on it. It is just my personal preference.

Print run on Actions is approx 1400, so not much higher than the 999. Actions are printed on the soft card stock that base cards are printed on, and we know those are hard to gem. The chromes are printed on a much more durable stock.

I don’t look at POP reports, just the facts on the cards themselves. Guess people are just grading fewer chromes, too, probably because they are less popular?

Ummm....ok....don’t really want to derail the Acuna thread with Bellinger talk, but sorry pewe you are very wrong here. I will agree somewhat with your BGS prices, but you have a lot to learn about the hobby if you think BGS 9.5 = PSA 10.

The last PSA 10 to sell was about a week and a half ago (during his slump) at $227. There is currently one at auction at $108 with over a day left....so....yeah.

What do I know though, maybe I don’t understand the market and how it works, but if you believe PSA 10s are selling for $80-100, I will buy all you have at $125 each, I mean that’s $25 above what they go for right, so what do you have to lose?!
