Can someone help me through the quantity options for the ToppsNow cards. It gives the options of 1 Card, 5 Cards + $20, 10 Cards + $40..., what does this + $ mean?

1 card is $10
5 cards is $10 + $20
10 cards is $10 + $40

they are $5 on eBay

I honestly wouldn't be shocked if this one lands in Fauci/Franco territory. I also wouldn't be shocked if it only ends up around 20k because of all the WBC haters. I can't see it threatening Judge/Sanders, though.

I did an order at 2:50 ET and did a small order at 11:00 ET with the points from the first order.

15,500 orders had been placed during that time. MLB Living released today as well. Anything else new today? I'm thinking bigger than 30K

It's a miracle these things aren't pricier. Ohtani's 1st card in a Topps/Bowman set, Japan jersey, Mega exclusive...

I bought 5 '17 Megas back in early '21 for roughly $150/apiece IIRC. Probably got $50 in cards out of that. Really regret not just purchasing a PSA 10 '17 Ohtani.

They're supposed to be random by CARD, not by ORDER - so getting a 10-pack vs. 10 singles should result in the same chance of parallels.

In practice, you'll see people who swear that you never get parallels in 10-packs or 20-packs anymore, or that 5-packs never hit, or that your best chance is in ordering the daily set rather than just the individual card. This is all nonsense based on small sample sizes and confirmation bias. Ignore it.

"I paid $9K in December off eBay and sold it on eBay for $13K in January so it was quite a nice transaction at the time."

This was back in 2017...

Now or potentially even better would be the start of the playoffs if LAA can make it this year... I do really like Detmers for this year, and the FO really did well adding depth. Matt Moore was a sneaky good signing for the pen too.

Renfroe and Drury give them some added power in the bottom half of the order. Overall they could be much improved, especially if Sandoval and Detmers improve as much as most are expecting them to.
