FWIW, PSA is currently slabbing about 5000 TCG cards a day, which is up from around 3000 a month ago. This is the only category I track, so I can't speak to UM, etc, but at least from what I can see there has definitely been an uptick in daily throughput, which is encouraging.

Funny. That's going to be one of the most overabundant slabbed cards out there. I did contribute to that since I had seven or eight that looked flawless. The mail carrier dropped off a TCG special yesterday a little ahead of the CDT. Something.

It feels like Value submissions literally have not moved in weeks in regards to the CTD. I swear I've seen Sept 7 and Sept 22 for Value UM and Vintage for at least two weeks now.

Ultra modern has moved one day in the last week plus. I think most of the players in my sub will be retired before they come back.

They haven't passed the first price increase bottleneck from Oct 2020 for all the lower tier services, so these are going to get so much worse before July 1st. I don't think they'll start accepting economy and value until 2022.

Prepare for worse. I have an ultra modern that PSA received on 9/11 that’s still in research. The CTD has almost caught up to this one so maybe that’s what will kick it into grading.

Checked in and put into research and id on Sept. 11. This order arrived at PSA in Late July. I’m interested now to see if the CTD stalls now for Ultra Modern as there is 1 day separating the current date and when mine was entered and TS still in research as of this morning.

Let me add that I’ve recently received back 4 UM bulk orders that were all sent after the one I’m mentioning so I’m not saying that they aren’t progressing. I’m simply interested to see the CTD stall out and understand why this happens for weeks at a time.

No word yet, but I would take the bet they will, or at least for modern cards.

A rep told a friend of mine that bulk will return. I assume that PSA is aware of where it's bread is buttered. I would expect things to be back to normal at some point.

Normal won't happen until 2023 and that is only if the bubble actually does burst. Eventually things will change, but we are quickly approaching a year backlog for quarterly specials and bulk.

All levels and prices will return it just will take forever to get bulk back. The second PSA would raise their rates to minimum let’s say $50 a card collectors will chose another company. Collectors/investors can’t afford higher grading fees in the down market. Or really any market.
