Nice... I locked in my 4 cases at 729 and a minute later... they went up to 799! I'm lucky today! Now if only my luck continues in August.

Wow, was gonna pre-order a second case but not at $800. My LCS pre-sells also and I think his prices are about $725 so I might pick up a case from him.

I think you were doing that at the same time I was reserving my case, thankfully I got in before you and locked the 729 price. I think there were only 4 on offer at 729 so your large order bumped the price up.

Yeah it happened almost instantly. I figured it'd go up and wanted to get them at 729. I actually thought about more but decided on 4. As soon as I paid and went back to site it was raised.

Glad we got the last cases... another 70 per case may have changed my mind, even though its not even a 6 buck bump per box, still $ I saved.

As soon as I pre ordered and went back I was and saw the price hike, I was going to be upset if I somehow had to pay the 799 and not the 729... lucked out.

Yeah the Allen and Ginter went up like 60 and then went back down to 939 or 935, whatever it was. It wont go lower than what I paid so as long as thats the case I'm ok with it.

Locked in 5 cases before the price hike, just couldn't wait anymore. I usually like to wait until closer to release, but seems like this year more people are ordering earlier. Probably due to all the early call ups.

yup my fail. I thought it was too far out for a distributor or Dealernet price bump like that, but apparently the Polonco callup was a tipping point.

Hasn't been confirmed that he will have an auto but I sure hope so...

He has been impressive, for some reason he isn't mentioned very often, if at all, outside of Arizona.

Not that it's a shocker, but Polanco has been confirmed on the checklist. This stuff is looking to be stacked this year. Seeing all these big names makes me worry it could be infested with redemptions again.

Honestly, I think I'd rather have a quality checklist filled with redemption opposed to a crappy checklist filled with live autos... Polanco Redemption or Arcia Redemption?

With apologies to my fine feathered friend with the anti redemption moniker, I am in complete agreement with you. I don't care if each and every card in my case is a redemption as long as it is stacked. 2013 TC had a ton of redemptions as well but Topps filled them quickly. I think I had all of mine in hand within 4-6 weeks. Nothing wrong with that if it is the price to pay for getting big name rookies included at the last minute.

Well I had a couple redemptions that were finally fulfilled about a month or two ago (Gibson and Cole) and I still have 3 redemptions that are pending (Arcia). I just hate selling redemptions on eBay, and if I were to pull a heavy hitter that ends up being a redemption it would be tough to decide whether to sell during the hype or hold and wait for the redemption... whenever it might be fulfilled.
