You could even add deGrom the way he's been pitching. His signed Bowman Chrome cards have sold for more than $35, one selling for $79.99 BIN.

Well the Topps Chrome sell for significantly less than their first BC auto. So if they are going for $35 I'd imagine his Topps Chrome would go for around $20.

But yes, another good name to the list.

Well, keep in mind these are IP or TTM autos. If he keeps this up, I could see his certified autos selling quite well.

Oh, so this would be his first official autograph card? If so, then yes he could be a bigger name.

Unless he has a RC auto any of the products prior to Topps Chrome, then yes. I'm not familiar with release dates of various products, so I'm not 100% sure.

I do know he doesn't a certified auto yet.

Holy crap, now that you mention it, this stuff could be the best topps release for a while!

I remember that was said last year on here as well. The redemption cards kind of ruined it and the big name autographs sold really low for some reason.

I got bent over on 3 cases of 2013 Topps Chrome, like, still using that 55-gallon tub of lube I bought from Amazon to help with the bowel movements bent over, which means I will probably stay away from 2014 Chrome Baseball. However, that did not stop me from pre-ordering two cases of 2014 Chrome Football (thanks AJ).
What was so bad about it?No Puig?

Yep, I had a few decent boxes including a refractor hot box and the resale on everything was awful last year. Not sure if an anomaly or if it is just what is to be expected in the age of group breaks flooding the market with a new product within 48 hours of release. Still my favorite product of the year and I'm in for at least one case if not two.

Same here. By far one of my favorite products. For breaking and buying singles...I absolutely loved 2011 Topps Chrome.

I can't wait til it drops. I did two cases last year and had a blast. I will be doing 2-3 this year. I got my redemptions in a reasonable time so wasn't too upset with that. I much rather have redemptions with big names than all live with no big late additions.

Add in the following to decent names:

-kolten Wong
-CJ Cron
-Rougned Odor
-Travis D'arnaud
-Y Solarte
-Jacob DeGrrom
-Tommy La Stella

Then potentially Gregory Polanco as well and this looks great

Most of these are $5 autos.

Too bad for 2 things:
1) Topps product
2) I'm broke. Lol

My best card could sell for $50 on a good day, and I'm still sitting on 5 base sets. I'd say of the $2200 spent, I made back $500 or $600.

In fact, the best card I pulled was a Bosworth/Switzer dual auto from the free box of OU football that came with them. I ended up selling that for $400.

I ordered one case last year and I was going to at first put sets together (I think for sure had 2, possibly 3) but then decided to just sell the rookies as lots. I feel I made more money this way as people prefer the rookies then all the base crap. In the end I made a little cash of my case, not a lot but I was satisfied.

With Polanco now called up, can now even the nay-sayers officially move this product out of the "bust" category, and at least into "has some decent potential" category?

Just preordered a case from BO. Last year's TC was my first case break and I had a blast. Dawdled a bit on selling the base (and I bought late after release) so I only made back about half the case cost so far, but it was a blast. Looking forward to release day!

I'm super stoked about this release. Could realistically have a deeper checklist than last year, and that's saying something.
