Yeah I live in Indianapolis. Thanks for this, I travel down to Louisville for work at least once a month so the Craigslist route is definitely something I'll look into. Good looking out.

Since I see a couple people always posting hats in here, where do you guys thick I should price these snapbacks?

Detroit Bad Boys -- Designer Award Headwear
1992 BAMA National Champs -- The Game (looks unworn)
1997 U of M National Champions -- H Kap
Rusty Wallace Kodiak Racing -- "The Winner" (looks unworn)
MOSSBERG -- New Era Dupont Visor Pro Design (looks unworn)

Additionally back in middle school I was a fan of U of M, for god only knows what reason, but not anymore... I'm SPARTAN ALUM, Go Green!
Well tonight I snagged up a U of M Starter jacket, similar to the one I had back in the day. This one's a little bigger, XXL and full zip, where my old one was a M 1/2 zip pullover.

That jacket is doooope. And the 97 champs hat too. I wish I lived somewhere that required long sleeves, I'd be all over it

I thought it was cool finding the UofM Starter jacket on Friday, because I had just been thinking that I'm surprised I haven't come across any Starter jackets yet.
Low and behold, just three days after the UofM jacket... today, I found the colors that really matter!!!

I wish eBay would send buyers e-mail reminders they have X amount of offers remaining after receiving a counter offer.

I'm about 50/50 when it comes to accepting first offers. If it's within a few bucks of where I'd sell, I usually don't press my luck and just accept. But if someone is $20-30 off and I counter at +50, to see if they'd bite, I'd like eBay to remind them as well they still have 2 counters remaining. My first counteroffer is just the starting point just as I'd hope in some instances a buyers offer is their starting point as well.

Just a thought.

Does anyone know where the history link in paypal is located after they changed the interface? I need to export data to excel and cannot figure out the location of the link. Or did they change the process as well?

Not sure if this is what you are looking for but if you click activity at the top, when the new page comes up it should give you options to change currency, and date, and there should be a download button to the right of that.

Its been killing me! I haven't been able to get out thrifting in over a week! Not that I have been finding much lately but all it takes is one item! Hopefully tomorrow or Thursday if I can get my gas tank leak figured out.

Watchers do not always mean they are wanting to buy it. I would probably raise the price a little see what happens.

This^^^

The watchers probably already have one and want to see what yours will sell for (if it sells).

SLOW sales recently, really this whole year has slowed down. I will say that eBay said that I am "below standards" for the anchor store and I think their algorithm is killing me in searches. It is super frustrating that if you remove a product from your store (let's say you accidentally list something twice), that it dings you. Also USPS lost one of my packages, which they paid me back for, but I was waiting for the investigation to close and while it was ongoing ebay stepped in, refunded the buyer and dinged me again. Really frustrating how little control we have over our own business when using ebay. Just the fact that they control if our products even show up on a search seems so counter-productive to business.

I can't speak for everyone here, but February has always been my slowest month.

I dropped off 6 packages at USPS on Monday 2/13, all first class mail and none show delivered. Two people have already contacted me, all 6 show scanned in at the post office next to my work, but none of them show anything further. This is incredibly frustrating, I get my stuff to the post office right away to make sure all my packages go out really fast, and now I am going to get drilled and probably have to refund everyone. 600 items on ebay and I literally am at my wits end with this bullsh!t.

For what its worth I've got a package that hasnt moved in 10 days (headed to me), and we've had mulitple packages and/or trade/sale disputes here in the past week involving mail just not moving. I'm not sure whats going on but its well above normal for postal issues.

Sales have been way down for me also. I think ebay has been having some system problems. I use a site called down detector when I think ebay may be having issues, and down detector has been reporting outages left and right for a couple of months now. Lots of people on there make comments, and it seems like the issues are affecting lots of sellers and buyers. They have a map that shows which areas of the country (and world) are having outages.

In fact, just yesterday, I was trying to buy a set of ignition coils for my truck. Every time I tried to click buy it now, instead of taking me to the checkout page, the WHOLE screen would fill up with a zoomed in picture of the coils. Couldn't scroll up or down. Page just froze. I REALLY needed that item, so I persisted until I was able to check out. If I had been casually wanting to buy a hat or t shirt, I would have stopped trying pretty quickly.

FWIW, I am a top rated seller. When I search for my items, they are usually near the top of the page, and my sales have been off 50% for two months now. It may not be your "below standard" rating, but simply some system problem they can't figure out.

Have any of the rest of you been doing as well the last 60 days or so as usual?

Im up 27% over last month, and my January #s were about the same as December.

I've made it a point to get at least 25 listings done every Mon-Fri this month. Ive noticed a huge difference when I list daily as opposed to listing a few times per week. The days I haven't listed are obvious in my sales. I also constantly run sales in my store. Anywhere from 10-20% off, and that seems to keep items moving. Some of the items I set the original price higher to offset the discount. I have 1500 listings though, more items = more possible sales.

I don't know anything about the metrics of how eBay does what it does, but I find even when I only list a few things a day, I immediately have offers and sales. Then I forget for a few days and then go quiet.

I have been listing a few items every day. Granted, not as many as I do at other times. The garage sales have been down a bit in my area due to weather. We only have a couple of decent thrift stores in town, and I have not been able to go out of town thrifting much lately due to my son playing basketball and baseball.

Hopefully with the warmer weather, garage sales and thrift store donations will pick up.

I've been seeing an increase of initial pickup scans being entered as delivery scans. I've had 3 cases opened for 1st class packages due to the tracking showing delivered the same day as being dropped off at my local station. At first I chalked it up to an employee error, but it's happening at other drop-offs too.

That'll suck if they don't fix it, you'll have to spend a bunch of extra time talking down buyers.
