Topps wouldn't jeopardize their 30+ year history with Lucasfilm just to put some Daisy Ridley autos in a set without approval.

Sounds easy enough when you see some schmo in Florida and Leaf selling Daisy autos, but neither of those have the threat of Disney pulling the license of one of the largest properties known to man.
Well good for Leaf and Steiner and guys on ebay for getting her auto...

But ya you don't want to make Disney/lucas upset...

Makes no sense to me at all...

Hope it all works out for the people that paid 1200-2000 for that mystery auto...

If topps cant get the auto.. hopefully they fill it with a ford or triple...

I was about to say the same thing. If that card ends up not being her, and I think that with each passing day that chance gets higher and higher, this guy is getting that card back. Still can't believe we are going on three months now and not a peep out of Topps. This is why I hate redemption cards. It feels like these companies put these cards into products and then move onto the next product without cleaning these up. Series two is a few weeks away and they still have yet to say anything official about this card.

Yeah redemptions are a curse...show me any other business where you buy a box that might contain something, and then only get a placeholder for that something, only to find out months or years down the track that you're not going to get that something at all, you'll get a totally different something altogether! !!

I still wonder sometimes how it's even legal and why we as collector's put up with it ?

I still have redemptions with Panini that are 2-3 years old..what are the chances I will get those cards - pretty much zero I'd think... And there's no motivation on the card companies side to even update you about your redemptions, unless they can use it as a marketing tool...think Knights Lance!

And try and actually find out anything about your redemptions...good luck! Tough enough to even find a working email! Though I must defend Topps Football as I recently got replacements for all my outstanding NFL redemptions (again some 2-3 years old) and they were really good about it !

If redemptions are a necessary evil in this hobby, and they may very well be, there should be some hard and fast legal requirements that the card companies should have to meet.

It's like the Sketchagraph redemption from SW Illustrated ESB, they were mystery redemptions, yet I still have no idea what actor or artist they are for.

Has anyone redeemed one of these? I see one online, but I am not paying anything close to $250 for a card I have no idea what it is for!

I don't think Topps ever said what the card could possibly be for, right?

I read on some artists' Facebook pages that they got a late request to do some additional sketchagraphs, well after their first batch. I guess these are the redemption ones.

So it could be an awesome sketch with a good auto, a meh sketch with a C-list auto, or anything in between.

So probably worth in the $150 range I am guessing.

Just finished opening a few packs, got an interesting error. A pair of cards missed the foil part of the printing process and were printed as such without front titles or border lines! I know error variants are a thing in comics and toys, but would anyone here know how common errors like these are and if they're likely to be worth anything?

I got a ton of these and several other people did too.
I also got 3 Han cards with a silver foil ring at the bottom of the card.

They would have sucked me in for all 3 binders if they would have added an exclusive promo to each.

These are a few recent commissioned TFA artist proof cards I completed, all are sold. I have several blank cards still available from both The Force Awakens Series 1 and 2. I have some expenses coming up so I'm lowering my regular fee down to $300 each. Please DM me for the details if you're interested in commissioning one. Thank you.

Just opened 3 boxes bought for $60 each and the pulls are in the pic...I am very happy with them. That is the second Fisher auto I've pulled over the years.
