Love the article. It goes to show that, despite what any of us think of the design each year, it really is well-vetted. To start with 20 designs in the spring and whittle it down over months with a competition sounds like an awesome thing for the employees to participate in, but also evidence that the design is not an afterthought for Topps. They really do put months into selecting the final one.

Also can't wait for a parallel guide to come out. All this talk about needing to simplify the parallels and make sure they align, yet it's so unclear what's what - and scanning eBay, sellers aren't sure how to label things either

I also think there are a TON of newb sellers that use the wrong phrases. Crackle, Sparkle, Atomic, so many wrong descriptions that it takes a lot of time to make sure that you have an apple when you want an apple.

It doesn't help that Topps has used the differing language with different releases. They had crackle parallels in 2024 and silver foilboards in years before that and even sparkles before that. hopefully moving forward it can all be consistent

Gunnar could 2 of version 1, 98 of version 2. Would have given everyone a super rare parallel instead of just the low numbered players.

I like that border idea...might have created an almost 3D effect instead of this mess.

That's the "Gold Dust Woman" Parallel.

Look for the "Silver Springs" Parallel in Series 2.
