So if Acuna is the next Trout and the Braves are perennial contenders, do his cards skyrocket at a fast rate?

They will increase really quickly, but I can't see them reaching Trout levels.

Acuna has so much more out there than Trout did. But his stuff is going to continue to rise... add an mvp, world series ect... who knows where the limit is.

well what if his career somehow matches trout's over the next several years and the Braves are annually in contention? More people will have eyes on Acuna than they ever did with Trout and Acuna will possibly be on a better team. How can that not push Acuna's cards to Trout prices?

Or is there something glaringly different between the two?

Yeah but his low serial numbered cards should go through the roof you would think.

not sure about the next Trout, as he is far and away the best player in the game, but Acuna has some things that he doesn't - a quality organization with a deep farm.

That's my plan. Ride the wave, cash out and then buy some more GOAT cards.

Thank God I held on to all my Acunas. I was so terrified he wasn’t going to live up to his contract.

I think the biggest thing in terms of future prices will be the quantity of RCs for each.

Yes, there are a ton of Trout RCs, but only in a handful of products. Acuna has RCs in something like 20 different products?

Additionally, there are more parallels within those products as well.

Looking for rare Jameis Winston rookies (Prizm White Sparkle, Gold Vinyl, etc), 1/1's and jersey #'d stuff.

True but the popular releases with low print runs should still ride high. Heritage red inks, Topps chrome color refractor autos, heritage black refractors...

But he’s only played a little more than about a dozen games! Can’t tell if this is a serious post.

Betts and Soto are more similar to Trout in terms of volume of products, but the main staples will always be in higher demand than the fringe products.

Come on man. You should know me by now.

I see the Boston trolls have a heavy presence in here. Wonder why that could be.

I hear you, but I don’t think all products count equally.

I think the point he was trying to make was that the fan bases could fix the uneven weighted quantities.

Trout has fewer cards, but also a smaller Angels fan base.
Acuna has more cards, but the Braves fan base is much larger.
