Hes a convicted felon? Or is that what he said on here to get his "internet rep" stronger?

Never said Pierce was a better offensive player.
Thanks for playing though....

Iverson IS a convicted felon though.

Right, but when your criticism of someone is due to something they did when they were 17, it's a bit of a reach. It just seemed like one of your lazier zingers.

I think Pierce was the better overall player....offensively and defensively.

Iverson was a fantastic scorer, but kinda a dick and too erratic to last.

Was not a "zinger" it was a response to a stupid statement. If anything his response that he "hates" Pierce is lazy.

Might as well replay this. This pretty much sums up everything you need to ever know about Paul Peirce..

Actually I think this sums up Paul Pierce. The fact he is criticized for a decision his doctor made is hilarious in itself though, especially considering the MCL tear involved.

“I wanted to get him out of there as fast as I could. I wanted to control the situation. I called for a wheelchair, but when it didn’t get there fast enough, we carried him off. The wheelchair met us when we turned the corner into the last hallway.”

“He tore part of his MCL,” McKeon said. “That can act like an ACL tear, especially at first. When he came back onto the court, he still had pain.”

“Paul’s the toughest player I’ve taken care of in my 11 NBA seasons,” he said.

Paul Pierce also played the entire 2nd half of the year with a pinched nerve in his neck.

While he was running the entire team.

Yeah what a wuss

Nope I don't. Get offended about it.

Just watching what all fans watched. He acted like he was shot, got carried off the court, in the wheel chair dying, and then he was 100% fine 2 minutes later..

Video evidence son.

I'm not emotionally attached, as you are... So I can see things for what they are and not try to justify why he acted that way.

You said that summed up everything you need to know about him, that he embellished an injury.

So we forget about the Hall of Famer career and just focus on the fact he was a drama queen towards an injury?

That was his point. Ignore everything in his career and make a generalized statement about him based on that

Trolling at it's best. Unfortunately the basketball forum is full of it.

I gotta tell you even thoguh this thread is a joke at this point, I think Pierce was one of the best players I've ever seen. I don't know if Lebron still feels this way, but when he was on Cleveland, he said Pierce was the hardest person to guard in the NBA. I've been watching bball my whole life and remember watching it since I was like 4 or 5. I have never seen a player make more clutch shots besides Jordan and Reggie Miller. In this generation I would love to see a stats who, say in the last 15 years, has hit the most game tying or winning shots with less than a minute in the 4th. I bet Pierce is #1 and 100% top 3.

People don't like Pierce because he's a Celtic. I'm a Knick fan... we hate the Celtics. If you aren't a rival fan, you hate him anyway, he whines, flops, tries to get in your head, his game is so boring and he doesn't have a TV friendly personality... he's can't even grow a beard and he's like 35! James Harden, rolling over in his grave.

But his game is so well rounded. He shoots about 45% from the field, you can't foul him bc he shoots 80% from the line, he, Wade and Melo are the masters of the pump fake so you'll foul him anyway. He can hit a 3, get you a steal, maybe a block and he is a great rebounder and passer. Add that to being clutch and playing solid D and you have a guy that you might not like but he has a chance to kill you every night. And remember, he is near the end of his career doing 19 pts, 6 rbs and 5 asts. He was much better 5 years ago, hence the championship.

If you watched the entire video, it shows him hitting a few big threes.

Take in the entire video, not just one aspect of the video.

At least you can agree that he is a drama queen, unlike your counterpart.

The video is titled "Paul Pierce Fake Injury." That is the ONLY aspect of the video. Obviously stupid to begin with considering he tore his MCL. I certainly understand the humor some find in the situation and his reaction to this ONE situation. However given the number of injuries he has played through, and returning to the court 2 weeks after being stabbed 11 times, I give him the benefit of the doubt.

Still the "Fake Injury" Video is all you need to know about the guy. I guess that is the best you can do when you have no substance to add to the actual topic.

According to some a sample size of one is all you need.

So based on that the video is clear proof of the player pierce is.

I personally don't believe in such a small sample size but others do...
