Opened one of each box+6 tins (except the ETB, I happened to be first in line at a Gamestop that apparently ordered zero ETBs and they were already gone from Target)

4 or 5 each of Pikachu V variants
Professor's Research
Birthday pikachu x3
Team Magma's Groudon
Luxray x2
Zekrom
Buttload of Zacian and Zamazenta.

So decent amount of hits I suppose. Just not the ones I was hoping for. Was hoping for at least one of the big 3, but I guess I'll just buy singles of those.

You'll be able to find them at MSRP. Just keep looking. Check-in with your local Target occasionally too.

I stopped at Target on the way home Friday. The 1st one had nothing in the card aisle. The second had nothing in the card aisle either. However I thought I’d check the toy section. I walked right up to a half full display of Celebrations. This is the first time any Poke had been stocked there in probably 18 months.

I grabbed a couple ETBs for my son. I’m guessing the first Target had their stock in the toy section as well.

Are you in downtown Boston? All the targets our near me (Plainville and Attleboro) have both sold out within a few hours of being restocked

I'm sure it's just a dice roll, but I've had a lot better luck with my pin collection boxes from TPC than the stuff I got from Target. Pulled gold Mew, Mew EX, Blastoise, Shining Magikarp, Vmax Surfing Pikachu amongst those packs. I do like this set in terms of fun pulls from it. I do wish the regular non-rare set was a bit larger just to make the duplicates from that pool less intense, but otherwise I've had more fun opening these than Evolving Skies for example.

There's a Dark Gyarados in the Classic Collection subset, but no Snorlax.

Just got home from a 3 day trip to Orlando. Stopped at Target a 9PM expecting not to find anything. Low in behold someone hid three ETB's behind some board games. I only found them because I was picking up a birthday gift for my roommate.

I spent so much over the past few days, so wasn't planning on picking up any, but since I was already buying him a $50 board game and one ETB is $50, target was running a $25 off $100 in toys and games today, so thought why not...

Glad. I. Did.

The solo Vivid Voltage pack yielded.... a Pikachu Vmax Rainbow!!!!

And then out of the celebrations packs....

Blastoise Base set

and....

Umbreon Gold Star

Chase card acquired, can call it a day on opening celebrations and hold any more sealed I get

Nice! I need to get one of those rainbow chunkers some day. I'd like to get the Zapdos, Dark Gyarados, and Umbreon too but I will prolly just grab singles at this point. Probably gonna hand out celebrations bulk to kids on Halloween with candy this year.

I'm 106 packs in as I went ham on the Target drops and got 5 of each of the box sets, a few ETBs and 5 of the GameStop exclusive boxes. I know it's anecdotal and there's rarely any truth to it but people say one format is better than another but the Zacian boxes were incredibly loaded for me. I had 4, 3, 3, 3, 3 classic collection in all my boxes and it comes with Chilling Rain and Vivid Voltage packs which imo are the better packs than Battle Styles and Darkneess Ablaze for hits. ETBs were horrid for me but I did want the Greninja Promo. All in all I averaged a CC hit in every 2.3 packs which I was happy with but had it not been for the ETBs it would have been under 2 packs on average.

I'm 19/25 with the CC set and the big misses are Umbreon and then Shiny Mew from the main set. Hit 3 Charizard and 4 of Blastoise and Venusaur so that was pretty good odds.

I plan on opening 1-2 of each of the October 22nd releases and then pick up any singles once Fusion Strike comes out as prices most likely drop. I don't think any card will be over $50 at that point that I need outside maybe the Shiny Mew.

I got lucky yesterday at target i got there as they were restocking. The same lady in the past who would let fill my cart with all the mega boxes and cellos I wanted was back. She opened a fresh case of etbs and i asked her to pick 5 lucky boxes.

I don’t know how I did but I think the collation sucks. I got multiples cards not lot variation.
