What is slated to be the big chase if there is no vip party this year?

Buy a box of Mike and Ike's and punch yourself in the balls instead. The t-shirt is ok though.

Retails for $900 so not a bad addition at all, I bet they still have stuff in the works

I bought a box but this doesn’t excite me at all. Non licensed stuff has no real market value

Note to Blowout…Onyx VIP isn’t going to move the needle. You can price garbage at $900 and it’s still garbage.

They just added a 2018 Topps Update fat pack to each box because of Ohtani. We're getting there, but show me more.

Problem with that is the party is Thursday night and I don’t know about others, but I won’t be picking mine up until Friday. Hopefully the vip ticket boxes have other things in them. Still looking forward to getting one!

The comments on this thread are funny. People keep mentioning you should just go to the casino or it's a waste of money....Many people in the hobby only buy singles, but a massive amount buy and rip wax. What's really the difference here? You're just buying a pricier hobby box. I understand the hate at the price point, that's fine. But to start using analogies to say you're better off going to the casino, etc,...The same can be said for buying literally any hobby box ever.

Using my budget as an analogy....buying singles = quarter slots and then penny after I start losing.

The difference is that buying a box or case is a single gamble. One that you have a certain amount of control over. Buying these blind boxes is relative to a two team parlay in which you have no clue what teams you are betting on.

So you essentially need to win the bet of what is in the blind box then win the bet of what is inside the wax. Unfortunately, the prizes available in the blind boxes are not worth it at this time.

I believe it was 600ish a few ago. Assume it will be more this year, possibly hundreds more.

it's definitely getting more tempting. When they added the 2018 Topps Update fat pack, that's almost 15% of the value of the entire thing with that alone.

I just fear that it’s a bad wax dump for things that they aren’t moving. I’m still considering it, as I’ve had a blast with them in years past. $500 is just a hefty price tag.

I think 2019 it was what.....$250/300? Looking back it seems like almost every one had some Giannis rookie year boxes

Looking at my BO purchase history, I see a 2016 black friday sale they did...10 box case of 13/14 timeless treasures hobby for $240.

Which is why I'm hesitant to buy one. Inflated wax prices mean you aren't getting what you used to get for the price.
