Topps is the puppetmaster - they crank one hyped product after another.

I haven't seen any in SoCal target.

I also haven't seen any Bowman Blasters either, only a few empty feed boxes here and there. I'm starting to doubt they exist here.

Good to know, maybe a sign that more mega boxes will start floating around the area soon. Was beginning to think that they were extinct in the area.

I posted the following yesterday about So Cal....

I am giving this info to those in So Cal that are checking stores. I am out of money for this stuff. These have been hard to find but a little research goes a long way. These are the stores in So Cal that I went to:

Not sure the city for all but cross streets

Beach Blvd at 91 fwy- sold out
Fullerton West (or North) on Malvern- Sold out
Fullerton East (or south) Harbor & Orangethorpe- not sure no one wanted to look
Harbor @ Chapman no help, wait for distributor
Euclid @ Lincoln sold out
Costa Mesa Harbor at Baker- sold out
Brookhurst & Westminster sold out
Santa Ana- 17th at Bristol- sold out
Santa Ana- 17th at Grand- nothing
Fountain Valley- Brookhurst & Adams Sold out
Seal Beach- not sure no one helped
Cypress- Knott & Katella sold out

DCPI number in So Cal is 087 12 3659

Good Luck to those still searching.

There is not a single target employee in existence that has any type of clue.

I’ve checked the following stores in SoCal:

West LA
North Hollywood
Burbank
Sherman Oaks
Van Nuys
Sherwood Forest
Woodland Hills
Canoga Park

They all had no Bowman or Bowman Mega...but if you want Topps Series 1 or Opening Day, you are in luck.

I've seen them at a couple Target's here in Greenfield/Milwaukee Wisconsin. They're a big so-what to me on my way to buy Ripple chocolate non-dairy milk(made from yellow-peas, seriously!)

Every time that I go to a Target or a Walmart around here where I live, it looks like a tornado came through. There's never anything left . I gave up a long time ago.

Been to 3 separate Targets for a total of about 12 trips. Nothing. And I KNOW there were at least 3 other guys snooping in the same areas as me. Last year, I racked about 18 of them.

They have either not been stocked by our Excel rep, or, they were sold off before they ever reached the shelves.

Of course, we’re going camping through Monday so there will be no more spur of the moment trips (yeah, right) when we get back.

I had to run errands today, went to 2 targets and both were empty. One the lady at the register told me some a-hole (her words) came in right as the excel person put them out and put the whole display in his buggy and told the checkout person if people come looking for them to tell them they can find them on Ebay (she said that's why she called him an a-hole, which I agree with). The 2nd target the guy was very nice and helpful too, said they got 3 displays of them and he had them in the back, had the night off and when he came back they were gone. He said htey are supposed to limit sales on high demand short run items like that so he was mad they were gone and likely one buyer. My wife went to 2 other Targets while she was out and about today, one said they didn't think they ever got them, and the other said there were multiple people basically camped outwaiting in the aisle until they cards came out-saying it was like Christmas and a hot toy there this week. I'm done looking-I only wanted a box or 2 and honestly this greed has taken the fun out of being a collector to me, might give new cards up and just focus on my auto and memorabilia and vintage cards.

I got 10 boxes third hand from a local friend of mine. The 2 targets closest to me haven't been restocked in 2 weeks, so I'm assuming the boxes haven't hit there yet. I check every day for them and there are no signs of them being put out.

I called the Excel office and they said every Target only got 1 case of 30.
