I think the only one I'd keep is the Mookie.

Got my Trout silver back from PSA today.

They gave it a 9 which is a bummer, but I wasn't planning on selling it anyway so oh well.

Edited to add: It's on Page 280 now. FYI, the most recent list is constantly updated, anything new will be added to the bottom and then included in the numbers the next new listing.

Thoughts: The difference in opened boxes totals between Autos and Base Supers is larger than previous:

AUTOS: 5,125 boxes to get to 16 above (18 packs per box)
BASE: 4,449 Boxes to get to 91 above (18 packs per box)

Almost a 700 box difference this update, previous were within a 200 box range.

I hit a Gold Robert over the weekend. Biggest hit of my life so far and was absolutely floored, especially since Wiffle pulled the same card the previous weekend.

Also got a black Soroka, silver Solak, and all the major rookies besides Alveraz.

The only minor issue I see is that Panini has the exclusive license to use Mickey Mantle. It would suck not to have him in a set but Topps can work around that with everyone else. The major issue is that I would go broke.

Thanks gang! I'd gotten the box a few weeks back before the prices went nuts. Been saving it for a rainy day, and after a 70 hour work week, Saturday night felt like the right time to rip.

IMO, Luis Robert’s cards in this set could be drastically undervalued. If he becomes a solid, consistent player, his Refractors could go through the roof!

Congrats. I could see the Robert or the Bichette becoming one of the key cards from this decade if either live up to potential. Super popular set with a great nostalgic design and a low print run equals winner in my book. I'm curious to see how they'll follow it up this year. 94 design? Back to the 93 well? This thread and the way this product is getting busted/sold/stashed makes me think it has the legs to reach key card status even over flagship/chrome/sapphire. Also, if you are looking to move the Soroka hit me up.

People have been paying superstar prices for him ever since the product was released.

If he becomes just a solid, consistent player, prices will drop 70-80%, because that level of player is nothing special.

He's expected to be the next Trout....

That is somewhat true, but Robert won't have to be Trout to see increases. He does need to be well above average or above average developmentally. I think the thing with the refractor is that it is undervalued compared to his base from this set and other low #'d parallels from other sets. All his cards are priced with high expectations factored in to be sure though. The recent flood of polished performances by young players (Soto, Tatis, Acuna) has skewed expectations a bit. If he hits like a top 25-40 player(definitely not a guarantee and it seems like a lot are down on him), he should continue to get hobby love.

Agreed one hundred percent. He's got the line-up to support him, a team that should run the Central for a bit, is a stud of defense, and is in a marquee city.

And the thing about Soto, Acuna, and Tatis is, they're all in the National League. Are we due for a balancing act hahaha?
