I think its interesting to read the first Couple pages of this thread,when a lot of people hated this set,including me....Now it seems everyone is in love,with this set,even the Ugliest cards!!!

Jeter's Taylor for less than $30 is really spicy right now. 2nd lowest PR for DJ ahead of a massive Thiele PR and somehow a higher Taylor PR from Big Hurt. What was laughed at last week looks like a bargain bin gem right now. Can see this easily doubling by Sunday.

I just wanted to leave a comment here, first time ever, to say great job, forget the cook groups and hype from outsiders (perhaps I fall into that group), there are some amazing artists here reinventing the cards we grew up on...in a time when the world needs it. How incredible is that? Blake is just killing it. Shore is incredible in his own right, you can buy beer with his creations on it. Vides is a monster who has his artwork featured on Vice's Most Expensivest in Vegas (check that episode out). Cartoon--go watch the Netflix doc. Chang is incredible. There are some gangsters here from the art world. Enjoy the ride. Baseball is more than a game and this particular set captures that better than any before.

People were absolutely stunned when the Ermsy Trout was climbing to $400. Now we have other cards hitting and shooting straight through $500, and it’s starting to feel like a common thing. People are getting comfortable with it.

It’s crazy to think that the value of some of our P2020 collections are growing by $5,000+ DAILY!!! Think about that for a second and let it sink in.

At that rate, every 3 weeks they’re worth $100,000 more.

I decided to add up all the cards I purchased this month. I have to admit, I was a little surprised to see the total. $875 for 27 cards. I was expecting closer to the mid-600’s. Then I totaled average recent sales for some of the cards I don’t really care about keeping and felt a little bit better.

I wonder if that board member then sold it on EBay as a pre-sale, then that new buyer sold it too (and so on). With the prices increasing so quickly for cards not in hand I'd love to know how many times the same card has "changed hands" without even being printed. I envision a lot of angry people in the future when a few big eBay sellers decide to walk with there cards (and profits). I dig the project and hope I'm wrong, but there is too much faith being placed in the guy flipping cards on EBay. I'd be nervous if I had purchased a pre sale item that increased by such a large %. The last thing I'd do is sell it. Hope it works out for you (and the many others doing the same thing).

As for nervous and awkward presale transfers .... look at the Rivera Oldmanalan ... nobody has that in hand yet, right? I guess looking on ebay only 8 of them sold for under $30 so **shrug** maybe it's not that big of a deal for the high value cards?
