The right way to cap off a historical season. For no other reason than to see a genuinely nice guy who loves the game being able to experience the satisfaction of living up to his potential, I hope there are many more similar seasons ahead!

My favorite detail in the coverage of the Sports Book losses on this was about a bettor plunking down $200,000 when (around ASG time) the line was already -5000 = $4,000 payout.

It would have been more interesting if a pos player also had a 9 WAR season. I think Ohtani would still have won due to the uniqueness of what he accomplished.

I’m so tired of eBay. I either win an auction and the seller refuses to ship the card and refunds me my money, or the seller accepts an offer and then refunds me money. Dang.

Seller has appropriate feedback of doing the same thing to others. Was hoping he wouldn’t do the same to me.
