I could see this happening.

3-team trade. Bears send Fields to Atlanta for a conditional 4th that could turn into a 3rd or 2nd depending on playing time and playoffs and send the Panthers the #2 pick.

If he keeps playing like this, the Bears won't be able to draft Caleb anyway, basically securing his own job. Depending on where the pick falls, they could use it to help Fields by taking a lineman or trading for more picks.

Fields has woken up last 2 games. On pace to have the best single season of any Bears QB ever and be first Bears QB to finally get to 30 TDs.

Mr Fields didn’t check his blindside with 7 minutes to go leading by 7 and hence the football popped up straight in the air into the waiting arms of a Bronco who ran it in for a score. Then after being down by 3 with a little under 2 minutes to go, against a defense that gave up 70 points the week before, he had an intentional grounding penalty which essentially ended the final drive and he threw a pick. But it was the defense.

But congrats on what looks to be a win against the Commanders the monsters of the DC area.
