Right now they are selling for 460, after cut it’s about 400. $100 dollar profit is a low amount for a risk.

This is what you expect from a $20 blaster not a $300 premium product. Even if sapphire isn't the straw that breaks the camel's back, we're that much closer.

Will be interesting to see if this product ends up being a flop at the $400-500 price point and who will take the big hit...bots or breakers...the two groups that are trying to stockpile this stuff right now.

I don't think I can do it, not enough meat on the bones. I'm not opening it so if I'm flipping it I'd like a little more cushion than $75 to $100. Sellers are already undercutting each other to unload.

And unfortunately for singles buyers like me I don't think there will be much opened at this price. Maybe when (if) the boxes drop a ton in price.
Unless common autos are suddenly worth $40 and common RC/base vets sell for something I just can't see it. Maaaybe $200 in a hot market. The checklist is just too large for many boxes to be deemed decent.

Not a single player who I care to keep from that box other than Lindor. I built complete sets in 2018 (well, I'm one box shy) and 2019 (purchased and ripped 40 through Topps) but obviously not going to attempt that in 2020. But yeah, seeing the orange auto at least got me briefly engaged. Then saw it was Urquidy and well, them's the breaks.

Yeah...singles will probably be tougher as word gets out the break up box value is not there. The telling sign may be what the breakers will do...if after the initial excitement dies down and the breakers stop busting the product. Some may take a loss just to be rid of the product to move on to the next thing...unless somehow Robert and a few other rookies actually pan out.

Tend to agree. That big of a price jump yoy without a hot RC to anchor this + overall economic uncertainty. Could be the 1st wax loser in some time.
