There's a multitude of different websites regarding guarantee income, some positive and some negative depending upon the websites leanings so I won't bother linking any of them. We both could, but it's pointless.
I'll address more of my feelings toward this ridiculous idea if you want to engage in a conversation but I'm at work and can't stand typing on my phone so don't expect a reply right away.
My biggest takeaway is that applying any such program would mostly take money's away from those who need it most.

Not looking to be crass or really even cynical, I genuinely want to hear some opinions:

What’s the dividing line on Corona deaths that the parties will need to be able to spin this as a positive for them heading into November?

The Blue team is saying this is an apocalyptic threat and Trump has done basically everything wrong. The Red team is saying they have things under control.

If the regular flu kills about 50,000 Americans a year, what’s the morbidly magic number for Coronavirus?

I’m thinking it’s somewhere between 10k—20k and leaning towards 10k. I think that if we haven’t hit 10k deaths, then Red team will be able to capitalize on pointing out the theatrics of the Blue team. I think if we crack 10k that people won’t be thinking rationally enough to compare this to the regular flu and they’ll agree with the Blue team’s narrative.

We discussed estimates of casualties in January when it looked like the US and Iran might be going to war. You can pick from hundreds of articles written in the last 24 hours about the range of predicted deaths from outbreak.

You're being very disingenuous by acting like we can't ask a question about what the political ramifications of projected deaths might be.

All the Trump supporters and Fox News are blaming the liberal media and CNN for creating this fear and false narrative just to hurt Trump politically, while using examples of things like the Flu, SARS, and other past viruses as examples that were worse but had no media backlash.

If the Flu, SARS, and other past viruses were so much worse than the Coronavirus and this fear and hate is being driven by the US liberal media such as CNN.........

Why have almost all countries where this has hit hard taken such drastic steps to try and stop the spread such as shutting down full cities or countries, all sporting events, public museums, closing restaurants, etc?

These other countries didn't take such drastic measures with the Flu, SARS, and other viruses that you guys are saying are so much worse than the Coronavirus, so why are they all doing it now?

Are you trying to say that the US liberal media is so powerful that the entire world is bending to their false narratives right now? Are you trying to say that the entire world is trying to team up together to hurt Trump politically?

He may never had said it publicly but trump picked pence because he needed help with the evangelicals,it wasn’t his performance as a governor. I’m not a “ fan” of any politician, these aren’t athletes. Trump is corrupt and incompetent, Biden will be business as usual and although I believe Bernie is a quality human being I don’t believe he would be able to push his agenda through, doesn’t play well with others. I will be voting against trump but I’m not inspired by the others. I supported Amy K believing she could get things done
