You mean it makes liberals feel better. I'm not sure I ever remember conservatives gloating over popular vote totals.

I think this was discussed earlier in the thread. It would be a hoot to see but probably not very workable in today's society with how polarized the two political parties are against the other.

Besides if Hillary was VP, I'm sure Trump would end up like Epstein and Vince Foster.

That's exactly what the Democrats are praying for though. Tough to beat an incumbent President with a great economy.

So would you like for the President to come on TV every night and speak appear sad for all Americans who died of everything that day? Corona, gunshots (self inflicted or otherwise), heart disease, etc.

Well, about 7500 people die every day in the US, so..

This is because putting money in people’s hands grows the economy, particularly when those people need the money and will spend it. Imagine a small town in Missouri with 5,000 qualifying residents. A guaranteed income of $12,000 would bring an extra $60 million of additional income into the community, most of which would be spent locally. Then imagine that playing out in every community in the country, big and small. Communities everywhere will have more vibrant local economies, creating more jobs and leading to new businesses."

"Decades of research on cash transfer programs have found that the only people who work fewer hours when given direct cash transfers are new mothers and kids in school. In several studies, high school graduation rates rose. In some cases, people even work more. Quoting a Harvard and MIT study, “we find no effects of [cash] transfers on work behavior.”

In our plan, each adult would receive only $12,000 a year. This is barely enough to live on in many places and certainly not enough to afford much in the way of experiences or advancement. To get ahead meaningfully, people will still need to get out there and work."
A quick Google search shows there are 209,128,094 Americans over the age of 18.
209,128,094 × $12,000.00 a year comes out to $2,509,537,128,000.00.
Yea, 2 and 1/2 Trillion dollars.
Forgive me if I somehow got the math wrong.
There's a multitude of different websites regarding guarantee income, some positive and some negative depending upon the websites leanings so I won't bother linking any of them. We both could, but it's pointless.
I'll address more of my feelings toward this ridiculous idea if you want to engage in a conversation but I'm at work and can't stand typing on my phone so don't expect a reply right away.
My biggest takeaway is that applying any such program would mostly take money's away from those who need it most.

Can we all agree that ALL debates going forward are carried out without a live audience? This is so nice to watch. They are answering questions directly. They're not going over their time too much. It's just a conversation. The audience is so dumb. It's like a laugh track and everyone hates those.

Comparing how the situation was handled then vs. now.

I've been of the belief that debates should simply be questions answered in a vaccum. No way to know who said what, just answers. If you choose to attack a fellow candidate, you may come off petty or attacking and waste time selling why you're the candidate to choose.

Same questions to all candidates...easy to compare answers, preperation and perceived acumen.

If you take out the bickering and cock measuring, you'd quickly see the adults in the room.

I am thinking Biden, if elected, will have Harris in the Supreme Court. He said he will appoint the first black woman to the Court.

Biden is getting waxed by Bernie.
Won’t win him the nomination but making Biden red faced

That’s cute considering you have the most leftist economic ideals in this thread.

The two panderers Bernie & Biden said they'll both pick female VP candidates...
Are there any disabled ethnic gay females to pick so they really really cover all the bases..
