For my sake, hopefully they will do what most veteran BC autos do and return to a normal level in a few years so I can buy one at that time. $350 is crazy talk for a guy that has never set foot in the Majors.
It's the players who have never set foot in the majors that sell for the most money.

They usually go for .99 or a little more on ebay, so yes, less than $5. Usually 2-3 bucks for shipping. Hoping he starts to put it together this season... We'll see.

My gut is telling me he's going to be more Wil Myers instead of Mike Trout.

Besides, Rizzo already has the big boy pants in Chi town. It's going to be tough for him to completely steal his shine.

For those screaming 'Trout' is the only hope for this kid to justify his prices...Trout's gold ref autos were selling for 600 before his call up, and his base paper autos were like 60-80. Right now you're seeing basically a repeat of the Bryce Harper situation with Bryant. But Bryce was another 'no brainer' prospect with gobs more hype coming in.

But hindsight is always 50/50, amirite?

Harper was a high school kid w/ tons of raw talent, Braun is a better comp to Bryant - sans steriods...

One thing to consider on those 13s is the sheer number of them that are damaged on the back. I imagine people are paying premiums for copies without the back bottom effed up

Truth and for the people who actually do this and make money then props to them.

I pulled one of these and sold it for a price I was happy, well THRILLED, with in less than 3 hours. I got $450 raw. I know the buyer graded it and got 9.5/10.

1 1 Bowman Chrome Red Refractor BGS 9 5 10 Dante Bichette RC Auto 1 5 High Subs | eBay

The $450 got me much more "value" to me and my collection.

Good luck to you prospectors.

I've bought 2 refractor autos from 13, one had the damage and one was ok.

The damage isn't terrible but obviously it would limit the overall grade to an 8.5 or maybe a 9 on a graders best day. I bought 8 Aristides Aquino blue autos since Chrome came out and no joke at least 4 have bad bottom edges in the same exact spot.

I picked it up really quick because I was so interested in it, but I'm honestly pretty new to prospecting hence all the threads about it when I first joined. This means that if I first ever heard about it in 2008 and first tried it in say 2011, I missed the hype of the Matt Laportas, Delmon Youngs, Joe Mauers, etc.

But when I pull up some of their stats on MILB.com their stats are nowhere near what Bryant is doing. many of them also weren't prospects for such big market teams. Has anyone let's say in the last 10 years had this type of impact? I think Strasburg might have had the biggest pre MLB hype since I have become interested in this.
http://www.dailyfinance.com/2010/07/...ad-investment/

In any way, stay tuned and get your Bryants bf the Superbowl, this could get nuts.

Wait a sec, aren't the people who are buying bryant now the usual customers of prospectors? I mean, this target market is exactly who the prospectors are seeking, the guys who hope their minor leaguers bloom into mlb stars.

The people buying bryant now are what perpetuates prospecting, isn't that right?

I watched Bryant play a few times last year in AAA. Best prospect I've seen in a long time. I thought the same thing when I saw Javier Baez Defense.

I don't get it, Baez has a rough start, so what are you saying??

I'm saying Kris Bryant's Offense is something I haven't seen before in a prospect and I got to watch some big name prospects come up. I was stating that I saw the same thing in Baez Defense when he came through. Baez has struggled offensively, he strikes out way too much.

Gotcha, except Baez had plenty of knocks for his defense too although he has worked hard and has had to change positions. I'm not done with him either though, he could still be a good mlber.

Right now I have opted to hold off on selling my 1 Bryant auto (14 ... Out for grading now)

If I can I would like to pick up a copy of the 13 but that one may be untouchable in the next few months.

Should be a fun run

I have been lucky enough to hit 2 schwarber base auto's, a blue ref auto that's being delivered today, and hit a bowman black auto if him last night. I'm hoping the market on both of them sky rockets soon. I don't PC either one of them, I've only been doing it as an investment. I think I'd rather make a few hundred off a prospect now then hope that he gets to the bigs and puts out great numbers with no injuries.
If you're buying into 2014 Bowman Draft, there are no Bryant autos in it.

2014 Bowman had his auto, as did 2014 Bowman Chrome (and some other products as well), but not Draft.

That's how im looking at this, if we are in Jan., everyone is talking football and the prices are like this, what will be come pitchers and catchers, ST, if anyone gets hot or makes the MLB roster? this is a great thing for EVERYONE on the forum, you can all get in in some way now. Prices are high but the chances of growth are really strong. We all know how crazy hype can be in this cardboard world we live in! Don't be a prospect hater, hop in, pick up one and enjoy the ride with us!
