Tatum has the better 3 point shot and gets more ball.

I feel like Brown is the bigger difference maker though.

Nice problem to have. Especially when you can stack a team around these guys.

JT is every GM's wet dream 4 archetype from a sheer vitals/skillset. No diddy.

The problem is he has the consistency of an altcoin chart.

It's going to be extremely damning if the Celts secure the dub, but he doesn't end up taking home the FMVP. His g1 was massively underwhelming, unless we're handing out rebounding trophies.

Nah, he's the same because people overrate him because he's in a great system playing along a number one scorer.

People were complaining about Klay missing the NBA 75 team just like people are complaining about Jaylen not being All-NBA.

Thanks to Tatum others have more space and opportunities to score. Take Tatum out of this team and Brown could not lead this team to championships. Tatum still the best player in this team.

The offense runs through Tatum and the attention he gets from help defenders. Thats what sets up their 3 game. Game 1 withstanding, he’s been elite in finding shooters and initiating ball movement

During the season, his featured lineups were often Pritchard, Hauser, Horford. Brown got Porzingis, Holiday and White

You may think he’s underperforming, but the offense goes through him. Every team in the postseason has given him that type of attention

This Boston team minus Tatum would have also made the Finals. So I'm not sure why they couldn't be a chance to win the title without him.

Regardless of whether he's the best player or not, he's overrated for what he's done/doing. This media created this narrative of him being "Kobe-like," and that's just outrageous.

Is he a great player? Sure.
Does he have great upside if he was more consistent and aggressive? Absolutely.

But I'm tired of everybody giving him WAY too much credit and giving him these labels (even if he wins a chip this year with 4 All-Star caliber players surrounding him).
