Panini went this route when they stopped hiring artist to design kabooms in comic-book style..just said its cheaper to throw on a filter & go

Could've hired a real comic book artist to do some designs like upper deck's "Agent 23" cards

No offence but if you need nameplates to tell who the micro mosaics are you might have an eye problem or aren't a very big basketball fan. I don't know how looking it wouldn't be completely obvious.

Probably saying he hasn't seen videos of breaks pulling them but the ones he has seen for sale have looked like they're in sh*t condition.

There is a way to use that filter and layer it to where its still applied, yet you can still see who the photo is. Using the filter because it’s “Mosiac” is lame.

can't relate im afraid, its definitely my favorite SSP of this year

i'll probably buy one for basketball at some point, just not sure who, Amen isn't that exciting of a player unfortunately

If I was keeping a card for looks, I'd take a Genesis all day but in reality I'd take the Mosaic as it's likely going to become Mosaic's Kaboom/Downtown/etc. I don't have $10K for Micro or lie $2000 for a Genesis though so doesn't matter eitherway lol

Not horrible especially 2 numbered in one box

I had similar luck with my single WM mega, too! Two, numbered cards; Pink #10/10, and a Ice Mosaic #/125. ZERO, Wemby, however.

I don't think I've ever heard of any Panini retail having two numbered cards in a mega or blaster.

Just a heads up on those Mail In Rebates - you can only use the gift card/bonus they send you in a physical store.

I ended up selling mine at 80% since I don't have a Menards locally.

Menards is one of the last places that uses them constantly.

I was really high on Mosaic the first year it came out and thought it was going to join Prizm, Optic and Select as a flagship product, but I’ve been really disappointed with it since.

With that said, the Wemby Glitter (and the Prizm Silver Glitter) is one of the most elite color matches I’ve ever seen and I’ve picked one up as one my long term holds, though I’ve only got the NBA debut (total population of 3 until mine finishes up grading this week).

So basically they had one year of good Kabooms. And yet real sketch artists get laughed out the park.

A Walmart I know has cards still has blasters and Megas. This product is significantly overprinted.

That's the thing, there's no design or art to it. I grabbed a photo and made this in 5 seconds and it looks basically the same. Real design should take a bit more effort IMO.

I prefer the Debut of the two personally.

This certainly applies to Wemby but really anyone in this set, but I think Glitter is the one to have (full disclosure, I have a Wemby Debut Glitter PSA 9).

Right now it's a Global Pop of 1 for his True Rookie (but at least 3 raw for sale on eBay right now), and 5 for both the Debut and the City.

By comparison, Paolo's Glitter Rookie is only a global Pop of 6.

Much more rare than Genesis (Pop 31 for Paolo's RC, Pop 8, 7, 2 for Wemby thus far for True, Debut, City) and the color match is elite IMO.

The Prizm Silver Glitter for Wemby is a Global Pop of 16 and and PSA 9 is aroudn $5k and a PSA 10 (pop 1) sold for $31k. Even PSA 8 is selling for close to $5k.

I'm hoping my Mosaic Glitter can get up over $2k.
