Very nice. Getting a Pristine is always nice. The Pristine label is amazing.

Received 8/20 for me…no scheduled for grading yet just says received.

CGC does things out of order sometimes in respect to submission received times for the same tier, which makes no sense, but how they operate I guess.

I was actually wondering if they do large uncut sheets, haha. Not that I’d ever do it, but was just thinking about it the other day since they do oversized stuff.

They do simi-rigids for the oversized stuff. I can’t see them doing a gigantic semi-rigid for a sheet, but wondering if anyone tried it. They might do the smaller promo uncut sheets..not sure.

I just received my 30-day auto-renewal notice and realized I can't remember what the membership benefits actually include. If it's only a 10% discount on grading, it doesn't seem worth it since I probably grade fewer than 40 cards a year.

Depending on your tier, you get the $150 grading credit.

True, but in my case there’s really no difference between letting my membership lapse and just renewing when I’m ready for my next submission. As far as I know, you still get the $150 credit either way. Since my submissions are always 6+ months apart, I feel they should offer more incentives to encourage people to keep their memberships active.

yes, you will get the $150 again. I am in the same boat. I had my renewal unchecked. I did a spreadsheet with the discount dollars to figure out how many cards needed to make it worth it. The first tier is $150 with the $150 credit and 10% off I think. So that is a no brainer. Going up the next tier for an additional $100 gets you 10 more % off. That is where you need to figure out if you send in enough cards to get full value of discount.

that's what I always do...let it lapse and then wait until I want to grade again and then re-up...

kinda funny though...I see grader notes as a perk, but I have yet to ever see any

Glad to see I wasn't missing anything with letting my subscription lapse until the next time I go to do my next submission.

You pretty much have to be a business to be able to justify the Elite level.

Good yours showed movement.

Somewhat confused why CGC is operating this way…my sub was very similar. Bulk tier, 85 cards. Received by CGC 8/20. Yet not logged in, still just says Received.

Only explanation I can think of is CGC is just randomly grabbing packages…why else go outside the order of received to facility for the same tier.

Yeah, that makes no sense. Yours should have been logged before mine. Are yours sports?

Nonsports...perhaps that's the reason

I cancelled mine and just submit as a non-member. No real benefits! Not faster.

That is pretty much how even PSA operates. I have had subs submitted later pass earlier subs. They all need to use FIFO

CGC has this posted on their socials.

https://x.com/cgccomics/status/19733...oSkCk_r30nxlzg

Any guesses? I’m thinking 10 cards @ $10 each? Would love to see them revive the old Beckett 10/10/10 (10 cards 10 bucks 10 days).

My economy order apparently got mixed in with bulk, received 8/23 still chilling meanwhile my other economy order arrived 8/27 and I already got it back 2 weeks ago.

The main reason I submit to CSG is because they *were quicker than PSA, so pretty aggravating when this happens.

Economy is still faster than PSA and express is much faster and cheaper for appropriate values cards. I got my last one completed in 4 days.

I recall re-joining last October for their 10/10 offer, but I honestly don’t recall the exact details. Maybe it was $10 bulk orders (minimal lowered to 10 cards) with members getting an additional discount? If that’s the case, I can definitely see a flood of cards heading their way.

According to GEMRate, they were at 97k for sports in September, and they’ll surely break 100k if they roll out a $10 special. Does anyone know what’s driving the 683% year-over-year increase in sports cards compared to last September?
