I should have taken the correa, but made a $100 offer instead lol

his blue last year was $500-$600, obviously this is 2nd year but still, great card

but yep, I have talked to him a time or two before and he says he likes to move the stuff quickly and prices accordingly

That's the beauty of Topps Heritage. I also made an offer on the Harper color variation and Jamie told me that he had another counter-offer so I should let him know if I was willing to take his counter-offer.

Funny how some people would try and call it a 4th year card.

Talk about a race to the bottom, this guy wants to sell for sure. So who on BO is going to buy these? Great prices when other cards are listed at $100+.

Real rough when one guy comes in and undercuts everyone else who is breaking a day early.

The problem is there are roughly 1,500 copies of each, so I don't see them sustaining anyway. There will be 50 of each player on eBay tomorrow. I kind of suspected that would happen, BUT it's still added value regardless of where they settle.

I will say, those cards may be $25-$50 in a day, even if just 100 cases broke on live date (ha, more like 1,000)
100 cases = 50-60 of each of these sp rc

I mean they are not even that much tougher than a regular sp and like I said earlier, they are the equivalent of pulling an action image variation
since it takes 25 boxes typically for the 25 regular heritage action images
but these are falling 2-3 per case, so may be slightly easier than sp action

also, so far only 20 sp action are known, so could even be that for some reason topps included these as 5 sp action rookie cards to make 25 total this time

don't get me wrong, they are new, but there are going to be plenty of these and if sp actions can be had for $10-$50 (sometimes even $5 after a couple days)

I agree, and actually think we may see 100 of each player
I mean my cases alone will yield 20-25 of each!!!

Same guy listed this "Blake Swihart Rare Canvas Textured Variation Card" so I had to bite. We'll see how I did as the breaks start happening tomorrow and the next few days.

That's not a race to the bottom, that's more of a race to reality. Those cards are not "ssp" if there are 5-10 of each listed before release date. I saw them all being listed, one right after the other, and was thinking maybe "sdsp - super duper short print" must now be the term for actual ssp.

I agree it is silly to list so low so earlier, kills the 1-day auctions too (like the Seager that is at $59 already)

but the first listings were higher than any of us first said,a nd the checklist turned out to be only 5 with many cases yielding 3 of them, so they aren't that sp
I had compared them to sp action of correa and bryant yesterday (for seager and schwarber) which early on were 50-80
and dropped as low as 20 and now back up, so some may well be worth holding on to once they get too low

I actually had several guys tell me they planned to list the 3 lesser guys at 30-45 and seager-schwarber 60-75
which makes sense to me
because in reality these are not difficult and the market will be flooded (kinda already has started as there are more of these sp rc listed than many sp action cards)

the top guy that was buying tons of seager's from series 1 only wanted to offer 80 on these, and that sounds pretty solid

I'm so jealous of you guys who get your cases early. On the rare occasion when it happens to me my distributer asks that I not list until release day.

So is taking a $65 offer on the seager a good or bad idea. Two hours ago it was the worst thing ever but 1500 copies.....may be the best offer I get.....

Already got $60 for the perez stamp and $125 on schwarber. Mulling a correa action variation sp offer of $30 as well...

I would hold out for a little more if it was me. Like in the area of the$80 Brent mentioned.
