They buyer did not leave bad feedback. Just wondering who is supposed to refund the buyer?? Will eBay refund them?

If it shows delivered then Ebay will not refund the buyer in most cases and neither should you.

My thoughts are the insurance is for items that arrives damaged or that show they were shipped but never delivered. There is something in the original announcement that makes me think this way.

Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Exactly, I was not planning on refunding. Curious how this will play out, I'll keep everyone updated.

Which brings up the next question if they don't then will buyers be able to file a claim?

The buyer has been very reasonable. I've been a PWE seller for a long time so normally I would just refund and move on. Yeah not sure what will happen next.

Had a buyer open a claim for item not received this morning...funds were put on hold....tracking showed delivered. I contacted eBay via Facebook(eBay for business).....they quickly closed the case in my favor and the funds will be released back into my account by tomorrow. For me the system is working exactly as advertised.

Yea, no problems here either. From what I am reading those who are having issues are creating them themselves.

Is there a way to see what individual fees are adding up to the invoice total? I'm curious if I'm getting upcharged for any packages

I would think you would get an email like you do anytime the USPS alters the shipping costs you paid.

I just looked at my current running invoice....shows all the charges from 1/26 thru 2/7.....no upcharges, just the $.51, $.71, & $.91.

with the risk of sounding like an idiot...how do I see my running invoice? I'm looking all over my selling page and can't find how to see each individual charge on the invoice. I can only see the total.

It sure seems to be bad luck - it's been isolated mainly to a couple batches of cards, and all the buyers have the same story so I'm chalking it up to something happen at the PO or the sorting facility. It's more a hit on my pride than anything. Most of the buyers have been cool about it - one seems to be claiming I didn't ship since the tracking doesn't show it. Just want to move past that one...

I could take those percentages and not feel bad - 1 out of 100 I can see something happening realistically. Does anyone think I'll have issues with claiming insurance on the ones with no tracking? I can see if they get hung up enroute as having some evidence, but feel like I'll be out the handful since there's been no updates.

Contacted Ebay for business on Facebook and explained the situation. Their response "Thanks for that information. I was able to close this case out in your favor since the item does show delivered. Your funds will be released within 24-48 hours but it's usually much sooner than that. If you have any other questions please let us know. ~Ken"

That brings up the question though if the buyers can file a claim.

Also shoots down this posters confidence he would win the claim.

Yeah, that is where it could get interesting. If the buyer is being honest and he never really received the card, he has a valid point as he paid for something never received. Not sure if eBay will cover it or not.

Here was the message I received from eBay on the case they closed yesterday:

"We reviewed this case and have closed it without any refund to the buyer.

The case will not affect your seller performance. Any feedback left for this transaction will be removed."

Can you use this while just printing a traditional paper label and taping it to a thing bubble mailer? Sorry, haven’t followed this thread if this has been covered. I’ve only seen people talking about printing up adhesive labels with a special printer

You can use a traditional printer but you can't put them on a bubble mailer.

This has changed the way I sell cards on eBay. I have an excessive amount of cards that will sell for <$20ish that are no long a waste of time to list thanks to cheaper shipping. Anyone have any suggestions/techniques they use to list these cards faster and more efficiently?
