Bingo as long as his offensive game is trash and his J. He will always be a low level all star player at best, and the sixers will never win a ring.

1) Simmons will continue to improve, as will his shot.

2) If you back 10' off Simmons, he can just set awesome screens for JJ and Tobias, the problem is both of them sucked on Saturday.

76ers shot 3-25 from 3, that's not Simmons fault by any means. They shoot 7-25 [still bad!] they would have won that game easily.

That seems like wishful thinking.

I feel bad for sixers fans. Since the Harris trade most of them have been cautiously optimistic regarding this teams chances. If it wasn’t for the media/former players proclaiming them runaway champs of the east after the trade I don’t think people would be rooting so hard for them to fail.

It’s a frustrating spot to have the most talented starting five on paper and have so many problems. It’s one thing to have a team that sucks and plays like they suck. To have this much talent and just play like absolute ass is tough to watch. Shooting could’ve been better, but that’s an easy out. They played poorly all around. I’m disappointed. I like our chances to turn things around, though. They have way too much talent to get bounced by Brooklyn.

It because they poorly fit together no one can shoot in that starting 5 consistently except JJ and he been terrible. Also no one creates for others by breaking down D Simmons just gets bullcrap assist not breaking down the D. And butler and Harris don’t do that so there offense is basically Joel and hope there chucks from 3 go in and if 1 of the 2 not working or both they in huge trouble.

This is a bit simplified, but yeah.. that’s kind of what’s going on. This team has only played like 10 games together in the regular season, so that’s part of it. The other part is poor coaching. I don’t believe that a starting five this talented can’t find a way to make it work. They just have a long ways to go to make that happen.

Just read an article on shutting down Embiid for the series from a Philly news group. I kind of agree. I know we are all in but it's not worth risking the future on him. This type of play can cause compensating injuries. At least shut him down for 2-3 games and reevaluate.

I’m down with that. There’s really no reason to kill Embiid just to make a second round exit. Rest him up and if we get there, then unleash the Process.

Exactly. Truth be told, if we can't beat the Nets without Embiid, we aren't getting past the Raptors or even most likely the Magic.

Pushing Embiid now would only hurt later.

Exactly you should be able to win without him. But you guys are not if Simmons Harris and JJ play how they been the last week of the regular season and game 1.

I'll leave my overreactions until the series is over.

I'm sure Philly bounce back. But BKN have been tough all year.

Raptors may not make it out of the 1st without OG. Who thought Nick Nurse was some kind of John Wooden anyway?

If JoJo isn't hurt, you play him because Orlando might be the only thing btw you and the Celts for a chance to play GSW.

Lol if the raptors don’t make it out of the first it has nothing to with OG being out

Embiid has been the league for 5 years now, imo hes not going to magically start turning into a player capable of playing 70+ games a season. this is who he will be for his entire NBA career
