how much are boxes? Grading fees?

if you want to own this card in GEM MINT form, its not all that horribly priced

was it less in the past? Yes it was, but those days are gone.

will it be less tomorrow? Tommorrow Never Knows

Hello fellow BWJ collectors! I'm ashamed to say that I live in KC and never really collected anything Bobby even though I'm a Royals fan. Over the past few years, I really tried to consolidate my PC to mainly: Ichiro, Soto and Mahomes.

This year, I decided that since Bobby was the hometown kid, I needed to grab something here and there. I know his 1st Bowman autos are always desirable as they're the first autos to come out...except in Bobby's case.

In 2017, he signed on card autos for Bowman, which then were held for years and then put into packs after Topps reached a deal with him.

I wanted one of his earliest autos I could find. So here it is! I'll make another post here in a day or two in regards to an insanely rare auto of his which should arrive shortly.... stay tuned friends!

So today was a great mail day! Today this little fun card arrived!

It's a 2021 Onyx Vintage Bobby Witt Jr auto numbered to /15......

BUT this one features his full name: "Robert Andrew Witt Jr."

I was on a mission to find the earliest auto I could but in the process I stumbled upon this one. I couldn't pass it up. I'm searched high and low and I've only seen 2 other cards with his full name signed. I'm really glad to add this one!

I also had a Bobberific mail day.

I needed a ‘24 Heavy Lumber to go with my ‘23. I was surprised by how tricky this was to find considering the print run isn’t that low. At least I thought was ~500.

Either way, it looks great and will be headed off to PSA soon.
