Would I put this in a journal - not at all.

I was pointing out - the party that refused to wear masks on the hill - railed against masks and argued about wearing masks - on the hill had an infection rate 2.4 times higher than the party members who embraced masks.

With 8 months of data (so far) this shows a rather clear delineation between ideologies of wearing a mask and not. Regardless of your political affiliation - based on the data we currently have.

Thanks, I agree to an extent but want to play devil’s advocate to elaborate on this a bit more.

Fictional scenario:

Let’s say Group A has group ideals that 95% benefit society, but also hold to a belief that members in Group B should be physically harmed or imprisoned because of an uncontrollable physical characteristic given at birth.

As a member of neither group, if I don’t agree with the negative 5% of Group A’s ideals and want to take action to support the well-being of Group B, does that make me phobic towards Group A? For me to not be considered phobic, do I have to take the position of, “well, I don’t like what Group A is doing to Group B, but who am I to judge?”

In your scenario where a group is actually being harmed or jailed for something (even if it is in their control and they aren't hurting anyone) then I'd say it's absolutely acceptable to speak up about it and not being a "phobe" to the other group. I don't know if I come across this way on this thread since it's political and I like to go back and forth with people here but I really am a live and let live, get along with anyone who isn't a complete jerk kind of guy.
